My first blog post! Weee!

So I thought it would be fun to start writing blogs with some writing tips. Easy little things I've learned or picked up over the years that I've been writing. I like to consider myself a decent author, and I'd like to pass on some of my knowledge to anyone who's just getting started or would like to learn a little more. :)

I'm no professional, but I have been writing for over 14 years now...which is probably longer than some of you have been alive. Weird thought. Anyway, I'd love it if I could inspire anyone or help them be a better writer, even just a little bit.
