Comments

It's really disheartening to write 2k+ words for a chapter without a freaking response from the readers! I am not asking you to write paragraphs. At least, tell me if you like what I'm doing. What are your thoughts? If no one would tell me what they think, it would've been the same if I kept my stories to myself. And they expect you to 'UPDATE SOON!' Smh.

I have the biggest writer's block and I am thinking of putting my stories to a halt. I've even put some of them to draft status. I don't plan to update two of them. And it really doesn't help that I feel like I'm doing this for only myself because of the non-existent feedback.

yes...there are so many silent readers. i feel sorry for the awesome authors that gain huge subscribers but barely get comments.

but beware of fake comments. this phenomenon is a new trend here. they are creative to word the comments but it turns out they just do that to earn karma points. i found suspicious comments in my stories like they said the story is interesting when i found that very person didnt subscribe my story(i set my story in subscriber only) also some accounts with typical usernames dropped the comments for several stories at the same time...readers nowadays
so which one is better? the real readers saying update soon or non existent readers commenting the stories?
