SM Entertainment.
Do not bash or say something rude after you read this.
Jessica was my first bias in SNSD. SNSD was the first KPOP group that I knew back to 4 years ago. Without GG, I wouldn't be able to be in KPOP World. GG, the 9 amazing girls who had done so much to us. Especially Jung Jessica who's known as the ice princess but she's the kindest and prettiest in GG for me. Words couldn't describe how I feel now. SM is just too- ugh. How SM treated their talented artists were not as good as how they should. Lets flashback to some SME artist who left SME and became really succeess now.
Anyone remember the old and complete TVXQ? The group who was formed by 5 guys before but ended up having only 2 guys? Yes, the 3 past members who had left, those members were Hero Jaejoong, Micky Yoochun, and Xiah Junsu. They are no other than JYJ now. Three of them got their own luxury cars, investation and they made a lot of money themself.
Anyone remember HanGeng? As of September 27, 2011, Han Geng and SM Entertainment have officially come to a mutual agreement regarding Han Geng's contract, closing the case. Han Geng will not continue his exclusive contract with SME and no longer has any legally binding connection with SME, as stated by Yue Hua Entertainment, Han Geng's current management company. But guess what? HanGeng became a really successful actor now. A lot of people knew him and he gained a lot of money and popularity.
Anyone remember Kris? The Canadian-chinese guy who was in EXO? He left EXO not long time after their comeback, Overdose. Kris is a really talented person with his charming face, smile, voice and also the derp personality of him. He filled the lawsuit on May 15 because SME didn't treat him like a human, only forcing him to work harder and harder without worrying at him first. But guess what? Kris is going to be a really sucessful actor like HanGeng in his upcoming movie, "Somewhere that We only Know".
And today, 30th of September, SME releases the official statement regarding Jung Jessica and GG.
The statement reads,
"Hello. This is SM Entertainment.
We are offering our position on the words posted on Jessica's Weibo today.
This coming spring, due to her personal situation, she notified us she will halt her team promotions with the release of one [more] album.
Despite Jessica's sudden notice, the agency and the Girls' Generation members tried our best and tried to figure out a way that Girls' Generation's activities can continue in the best possible direction.
However, in the midst of insufficient negotiations regarding conflicts of differences in priorities and interest, Jessica started her fashion business. Due to this, despite ongoing talks, it has come to a point where the team could not be maintained.
Thus, the agency had no choice but to pull up Girls' Generation's activities as 8 members earlier than planned, and in the midst of while working out when to announce this, Jessica had posted her words early this morning.
From here on, our agency will continue to support and manage the 8-member Girls' Generation and Jessica's individual activities."
If Jessica wouldn't leave the agency, it would be great but after they spent 7 years being together as OT9. GG wouldn't be the same as the old GG because one of them left. But however, as a SONE, we need to support both Jessica and SNSD, right?
SM would be really stupid to lost them, eh? But well, we would never know the truth behind it. Who's right and who's wrong. Let karma do its own job.
