HELLO EVERYONE I MISS YOU ALL SO MUCH!!! 

Sorry I've been away from AFF for around a month. Once again I have to put my writing (of both Countdown to Sunset AND Raining Heartbeats) on pause because school has started.

Before I continue, I have a random question I'd like to ask you all. I shall put it in caps for the people who like to skim through large chunks of text: HOW MANY OF YOU WOULD BE INTERESTED IN ENTERING A FREE DRAW TO WIN THE ONE AND ONLY, REAL LIFE COVER OF THE STARGGAZER'S SCRAPBOOK? I will do touch ups (like t the edges and framing it) before mailing it off to the winner. I just want to give back something to thank my supporters. Everyone is welcome to enter the draw, even if they haven't bought TSS. The only condition is that they must have an active Facebook account, because the draw will be held on FACEBOOK and they will be contacted via Facebook Message. I want to see how interested people will be in this, so let me know in a comment please ^^

I have a handful of things I want to share with you all. First, I really appreciate all the support you guys have given me since publishing my first novel (as well as before that, when I was still just writing fanfics). My novel is self published, meaning that advertising and marketing is all done by myself, and it's kind of difficult to bring awareness to my book. I'm really thankful to Jason and AFF for kindly accepting my book and celebrating it's debut with me. I truly appreciate all help you guys give me by sharing this book with your friends, classmates, family members, or even random strangers. 

Now for the super exciting update. As many of you know, I chose to donate all my profit from The Stargazer's Scrapbook to Alzheimer Society of Canada! http://www.alzheimer.ca/en. Since May 2014, the day my book was finally published, ALL OF YOU have led up to this total donation of $531. All of you, by purchasing my novel or by spreading the word to an interested audience, has led to this amazing feat. $531 is a large sum. It's not on par with what the big authors/celebrities can afford to give, but I'm not a big author or celebrity--I'm just a typical undergraduate student with big hopes and dreams. Thank you everyone for pursuing this dream with me. The donations will not stop here. I will keep on donating all profit from TSS to fund Alzheimer's research until the day I die--That's the promise I made with all of you, and with the God I serve up in heaven. 

This past Friday a representative of the Alzheimer Society of Canada gave me a thank you phone call. I shared with them where the money was coming from, and they shared with me the type of research this money was funding. There are researchers currently looking into how cognitive behavioural therapy can delay, or perhps prevent, the development of Alzheimer's Disease. Personally, that made me really happy, because a small part of me wants to pursue a PhD in Health Promotions and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. But that's another story for another day.
