FREE BOOK GIVEAWAY "CONTEST" - To readers in Malaysia/Indonesia

Hi everyone!

Sorry I haven't really been checking up on AFF in a long time. I'm having a tough school year hahaha and sadly it's left me with no free time to write, so all my writing projects like my 2nd novel, and my Countdown to Sunset fic are on hiatus. However, I'll just get straight to the exciting part:

After publishing my novel, I've received a lot of messages from my readers in Malaysia and Indonesia who mentioned that Amazon and Barnes & noble don't ship to those countries. I am very limited in my ability to change that, because as a self published author I don't have people helping me put my books on store shelves. This has troubled me a lot because I really want all my readers to be able to read it, because a lot of my Malaysian/Indonesian readers have given me a lot of support when I was still only a fanfic writer.

So here I am organizing my first FREE book giveaway.   The book, of course, is The Stargazer's Scrapbook. (I would like to take a pause to mention that just 5 seconds after typing that sentence I stupidly spilt tea all over my keyboard... but it's still working thank goodness hahaha). I will be giving out TWO copies! This contest will only be eligible to readers in Malaysia and Indonesia. I believe those were the only 2 countries I've received notice that my books weren't available to? If you also reside in a country that my book is unavailable in please let me know and you will be eligible to enter (: I trust you all. Also, as of today: $618.40 CAD has been donated to Alzheimer Society of Canada!

The contest is in quotation marks because the first winner will be chosen based on a draw out of all the people entered.

The second winner will be chosen based on their answer to a question. Everyone must answer this question to enter (:

All you need to do is answer the following question in a comment below, and if you are the winner, I will message you on AFF and you will be congratulated in my next blog post.

Question:

Who is your favourite author, and what is the most meaningful lesson you have learned from reading their work?

This contest will end on February 27, 2015 (My 20th birthday, hahaha). I'm excited to hear your responses soon. Sharing with me something meaningful will be a precious birthday present to me ^^!

My favorite author is Jack Canefield who wrote Chicken Soup for the Soul. Even though there are other famous authors who are known for their books such as Suzanne Collins, J.K Rowling or Stephen King - Jack Canefield actually settles in the truth of life for me. From his book, he had thought me that there are things that will change in our life and to accept them and to change things to better, he has thought me that it was never too late, too early (even if we have to take things slow and the road is a long journey). Through the book, I think I get wiser in life.

I have alot favourite author but recently
I'm inlove with one of these author which
-star-'s Love medicine - OC & Baekhyun.

The story is basically on unrequited love
but if you read it, the story is actually
more than an unrequited Love, its also
happend how friendship are precious,
how family is actually more important
and mostly how we actually can't depend
to a single person. Life is full of test, and
the story tolds me how strong we can be
if we don't keep depends on 'someone'
eventhough its hurt to leave them. Well, I cried that OC and baekhyun don't get
together T.T

Hye! I don't know if i am late or not since this is February right now. But I really want the book for many months by now T^T I love reading English book than Malay books xD By the way, I guess my favorite writer is William Shakespeare and ANJELL . To be honest, I don't know why I choose William since he is gone by now. But after searching all of his books and I have watched a remake of his books, I think he is really fascinating :) And ANJELL, the writer has debuted about two books only in Malaysia but those books are really well-known with the writing and the fabulous plot. I think both of them really inspiring me to make more novels until now I have made about 16 novels ^^

And for the author who I love and I get a lot of inspiration the most is Crinchan. She is my favorite author among all authors. She has a great story and I really love it! It is great and I always tell her that she is my favorite which is yeah, she is my favorite. I love reading all of her stories. I have read all of them and all of it are awesomeee. I hope I get your book because the storybook is really interesting from the cover. I kept searching it around Malaysia but there is none and it is really frustrated ,T^T

I dont have any favorite author(s) because i didnt see their name too much/?? I usually just "oh this book' storyline is very good. Who's the author of this book?" And check the book author.

I like how Orizuka tell the unique story on her books, like how ordinary person will be looking at.
how Tablo tell some reality story on his book. How Wulan Dewatra made her book into the winner of novel' competition because her book' storyline is look really real. And so many more author i like bassed on their book' storyline and their imagination.

Its more like i learned how live is going when someone is like this and that. How people will react their personality and else.

My favourite author is John Green

His 'The Fault in Our Star' taught me that we live, love and laugh, and meet someone special in our life but we can't be with our soulmate always, so we need to spend our time wisely rather than keeping our own feeling inside without telling it out><

Omg.. you are so kind to be doing this ;;v;; I've been wanting to get your book, but I live in Malaysia, so they can't ship it here. XD So, i'll be answering the question to enter :3

Who is your favourite author, and what is the most meaningful lesson you have learned from reading their work?

I don't have a favourite author because there are a lot of authors that I really really like. But I do adore Sarah J. Maas. her books are totally awesome and the characters are really likable. She writes fantasy and action genres and the main characters are usually female which I have come to like :) From Sarah's Throne of Glass (TOG) series, I learned that you can't always blame yourself for everything that has happened. And don't blame others for whatever happens in your life. Although your fate is waiting for you, you always have a choice on how to portray it the way you want it. The past will forever stay with you but it's your choice to let it consume you or make you stronger. Even the strongest person from the outside can actually be weak on the inside. It's not wrong to put your ego down and let your feelings out to someone you trust.

[wait... Should we write a fanfic author or a book author? I wrote a book author. XD]

I hope that's enough :3 (Or maybe I wrote a bit too much? XD) Anyways, thank you sooooooo much for hosting this ^^
