Bec for most GD fans, the only girl that best ships with GD is Dara. Like she's the best choice to be paired with him bec 1. Fans are more familiar with Dara than Kiko. 2. Idol to idol ship is the most preferred ship in Kpop. 3. She's from YG family, same circle as GD so fans won't have a hard time shipping bec they they can see a lot of interactions between the two and that feeds the shipper spazzes bec the more oppurtunities to interact, the more chances to spazz.

But lovely Dara has a lot of ships. Someone as pretty as her is actually compatible with every guy paired with her. She's also tagged as one of the ultimate ideal girl so naturally, a lot of guys will be paired to her. Its like Mix and Match here. Pick idol A for Dara and compare if Idol B is much better ship with Dara.

Another thing why there's a lot of hate on Kiko bec in some Daragon fics she's portrayed as a villain. Not a nice way to be viewed at right? Plus, Kiko is not a Kpop idol. We don't always see her on TV interacting with GD so limited to almost nothing to spazz for JiKo.

To end my thoughts, let's all accept the fact that JiKo is the real deal while Daragon will be put down in history as one of those very famous Kpop ships that never got real.

I used to dislike Jiko because I was a hardcore daragon fan until I finally accept the fact that GD and Kiko are dating. I still ship daragon until now but I kept silent about it (yay for silent shipping). But I support Jiko too. Weird right? And yes I ship Dara with almost everyone because I really want her to date. (She ain't getting younger except for her face lol)

I agree. I myself have a hard time shipping GD with other than Dara. I don't know myself haha.. well.. Just like you, I also ship Dara with everybody. I mean it's hard not to and let's add the fact that Dara suits with everybody. She is like a chameleon, not just with fashion but with guys as well. And the thing with kiko and GD, I just can't bring myself to love their so called relationship. I'm not a hater nor a basher. Sure, I don't like kiko.. but I don't go around talking s nor bashing her on her insta. Anyway, I just can't see any chemistry between GD and Kiko. I don't know but I can't bring myself to be happy for them, if ever they are indeed dating.

My dear, i share the same sentiments with you. For the record I'm 101 % Daragon, Appler :) And i like to ship Dara too but only with TabiSan or KrisDara ... buy Jiyong, not with anyone especially K. I can ship Dara because I know that if DaraGon is real she will not waver no matter there are rumors about her and fanboys, where as GD with all that's been on the news right now, I'm truly sad and disappointed, i could just say goodluck to him. As for Dara, she deserves someone better and she deserves to be truly happy :)

I am totally with you on this one. Though I can't say the same about Dara shipping with other guys. I mean for me, it will always be Dara for GD and GD for Dara. No matter what happens.

Maybe bc they are too much attach on what they believe in...in the fact that its hard to accept what will happen in reality...they just stay on their fantasy land.
Like u, I also ship Dara with diff guys...but hard to ship GD to others, but I just think that its not my life, I can ship them to anyone but if it will not happen into reality...let go..move on..if u'll bash them and give them hates..u will just stress urself..just accept things and move on

I think most of the hate came form the Daragon shippers. Daragon is one of the largest--if not the largest--OTP out there. And it's unavoidable for some fans to be truly invested in it to the point of refusing what's real as they keep insisting their delusions. I am not against Daragon--heck, I love that OTP. But sometime fans should not forget that these OTP and shippings are fictitious. These aren't real until verified otherwise.

It's saddening that some of these people had stepped beyond the line. Kiko seems like a nice girl but she is often the or the third party in most daragon fics. That's why people tend to have these negative reactions against her.

It's unfair for them, really. If Jiko is real, then why insist something that is not? Jiyong is happy and I think he deserves that.
Who are we to take that away from him?
