Good books to suggest me?

These days I'm craving soo much for books. I still don't have college and while waiting for my fav stories' updates I need to read something else.I 've just read again my fav book ever "The shadow of the wind" by Zafón (I never read books twice, even my fav and this was actually my first time re-reading a whole book again).

I'm a big fan of Zafón in general and also Agatha Christie, so you kinda know my tastes in book.

I thought I wouldn't see myself reading angst, love stories or lighter reads outside this website but this summer I've read 'The fault in our stars' and 'Paper Towns', so I guess it's okay. I'm also still searching for something that can beat Murakami's Norwegian Wood in my heart.

I'm not really into dystopian/supernatural/fantasy stories, unless it's something like 1984 or it involves alchemy or myths  (especially greek myths). I love watching horror/thriller movies and reading ghost stories online (I don't care if it's real or not 'cause they still give me chills, yay I'm soo weird)

oh gosh, I don't think someone will be able to suggest anything since I'm so picky lol. Don't suggest sagas or books too long since I'm planning to read them in a short time.

thanks in advance ;*

IF YOU LIKE GREEK MYTHS YOU SHOULD REAL PERCY JACKSON AND THE OLYMPIANS BY RICK RIORDAN. THEN HEROES OF OLYMPUS BECAUSE THAT'S A SEQUEL SERIES. Admittedly, these books are "targeted" towards young readers, but I read them this past summer, and I loved them :)

As for more serious books, I guess you could read "We Were Liars" by E. Lockhart. It's angsty, suspensful, and short--so you should be able to breeze through it in one sitting. If you want to pursue more angst, I recommend books by Ellen Hopkins. She writes her books in free verse, and they also discuss certain social issues like , suicide, and etc. I mean, I've only read one book by her, and even though they seem intimidating, I'm still glad I read it.

If you like watching horror/thriller movies, then I also recommend the Mara Dyer books by Michelle Hodkin. I haven't read the second book yet, but the first book I couldn't put down because it was just so good. There's also a lot of OTP feels, so if you're into that, you should read it because I died every time something between Mara and the-dude-I-won't-name-because-spoilers. It's also a good mystery, I guess? Like the entire time, Mara is trying to figure out what happened to her after a dramatic accident since she repressed the whole thing -- so yeah :D

But, if none of this is cutting it for ya, try looking for book recommendations on goodreads! That's where I find most of the books I want to read, and it's really useful as long as you don't take written reviews too seriously. As long as the book has a 4-star rating, I think it's safe to say it's good ^^

Have you read Murakami's 1Q84? I finished it in a couple days but the ending is so not worth the pages and pages of brilliant writing.

Looking for Alaska by John Green is pretty good but it's kinda chick flick-y if you don't mind it. But it gets hella interesting and sort of depressing too lol. I still love it though! The Tao of Pooh is SUPER good! And The 5 People You Meet in Heaven is super good as well lol those 3 books are my fave
