I love how fans aren't even going to give this a try just because boys before friends the American version of Boys Before Flowers was god dang awful. I think it will be interesting and I look forward to it. What about you fellow kpop lovers?

    Mariana Lino America or other ocidental countries shouldn't make remakes of kdramas. They could never do something as good as the original drama. Instead of remaking they should show the original version of one of the most popular kdramas and see if the viewers are intrested and like it or not. If not... don't try to make something it only looks good in Korean, with koreans and in Korea.

      Kaley Lowman Americans are not going to tune in to watch something in Korean, and they're probably not going to tune in to watch something dubbed either. When it comes to foreign shows that aren't in English, it makes more sense to remake it than to show the original. The only time showing the original makes more sense is when it's something made in another English-speaking country.

    Debra Sleman no...american tv has a different "ridiculousness" than k-drama has... It just wouldnt work with American "standards" and screenplay. Hallyu isnt a thing that can be translated into anything to western liking. It would look like a gimmick. If they'd Koreanize an american show on the other hand it would work perfectly.
