Style: He tends to gravitate towards fun but clean and simple clothes. He loves his glasses and long sleeves. He really hates to be cold so he usually dresses with a lot of layers. Formal wear isn’t really his thing but if he must he’ll opt for a plain black and white classic suit. He always sleeps in brightly colored pants and his pink hoodie. He absolutely loves to be cozy so hoodies, hats, and mittens are almost always part of his wardrobe when it’s cold. Rarely will he wear shorts even to practice he likes athletic pants.

Profile: He looks and acts cute like a maknae should, but he’s painfully shy with new people so he’s not really outgoing or bubbly outside of the dorm. Everyone wants to run over and cuddle him because of his cute images but he never knows how to respond to this attention. He lets people hug and touch him but doesn’t really show much physical affection back. Usually he turns red in the face when older idols talk to him and he sometimes stutters when speaking. When he was younger he was teased and bullied a lot because of his stuttering and when he stopped talking altogether, his parents decided to privately tutor him. They hired a music therapist to try and help. She found out that he could work a lot of his frustrations out through dancing and when he sang his speech impediment seemed to temporarily disappear. When he was thirteen he was struggling with confidence so she encouraged him to audition for DSP and to her excitement, he got in!

Even though he needed a tutor, Dae-Ho’s actually really intelligent. He’s like a walking encyclopedia, always spitting out random facts about things completely unrelated to the conversation. It’s his way of trying to fit in. Because he was so sheltered for the past few years he only knows two extremes- being too quiet or too talkative. Once he gets closer to you he’s a lot more comfortable and will start to let you interact with him and touch him. With people he trusts, he’s actually quite cuddly. The dorm (and his room in particular) is a “safe” place for him so he’s more at ease there. It’s easier for him to express affection with actions rather than with words. If someone loses their temper and screams really harshly or throws things, he’ll hide and then they’ll have to start all over again if they want to be close with him again. He’s sort of a skittish like that. When he performs however, the music seems to empower him and he becomes confident and more outgoing when on stage.

Past Relationships: A year into his training there was another trainee named YoungHae that was a few years older than him that he was able to grow close to. He treated DaeHo like a little brother and always protected him and helped him learn the words to songs he struggled with. Somewhere along the line, DaeHo started to think maybe he has feelings for him but he wasn’t sure if it was just admiration or love. One night when they were practicing, DaeHo worked up the courage to tell him his feelings. The older boy surprised him by leaning over and giving him a kiss. DaeHo was really happy because he was afraid he was a freak for liking another boy. The next day however, YoungHae acted completely weird and completely ignored him. A few days later the news of the kiss had been spread all over the trainee dorm except it was rumored that DaeHo had forcefully kissed YoungHae against his will. The kiss had been DaeHo’s first and because he was so humiliated from the incident he’s guarded his heart and his lips since then.
