this is going to be somewhat a long post so if you feel like not wanting to waste time, i suggest you run along to doing what you were - maybe skimming over a directory of fanfic recs, aha. i was feeling down today, you can say that i'm quite emotional and dramatic at times but eh, c'est la vie. we have our moments, oui? this is actually an appreciation post to all of you out there - a friend of mine or not, an acquaintance or not, it's still for you.

i think it was just a few days back that i saw on insta about #internetfriendday or something similar to that - it was like an event or so, to appreciate the bond we have online despite of the different timezones, ethics and/or religions. honestly, i have a lot to say but i'll try to keep it short.

i think the most sincere friendship i've ever had was online, tbh. you wanna know why? drama never really occured like the ones we have in real life - we didn't bad mouth each other and throwing hates was just plain immature and i like it, i like having an online friend and soon, it became online friends. at first, we just go on hot asian male and female who sings and dances. then, we started asking what's our country like, what's school like and how was life - we grew accustomed to each other to the point where we'd adjust our time with each other; some even stayed up late just to share a bit of how was their day and to wish the other to have a great day ahead. i think that's the sweetest thing because you don't get that in real life friendships - real life friendships are just full of drama but it's good to have a companion either way, and can we all agree that we all have this one friend who has her head stuck in her ? that one friend who is usually full of herself or himself? ( but i doubt guy friendships have drama like girls, ha. ) i'm not saying that real life friendships but at times, having an online friend sure is better. i just wish we all could gather at one spot and have a real big group hug instead of sending virtual hugs. i like how our differences makes us one - you don't judge and i don't judge and honestly, that is already an accomplishment. i also like how eventhough we've never met, the trust that we have with each other is undeniably strong compared to real life friendships and i'm saying 'cause i'm currently having this fight with this girl who claims that i am her best friend however she is bullting around saying i'm a and that's really loving of her, aha. and to think that she was sincere, hmm. i also like how we can comfort each other despite of our differences, i like how we can be open and i think that my communicating skills are far more better online - i'm thinking it's due to anonymity but i feel that as we grow close to each other, i can actually express myself better. is it me or am i sounding cheesy nao? anyway, i think having an online friend or should i say, online friendsssss are the best thing ever and i just wanna say, i'm so glad that Internet existed and that you and i can create a friendship despite of the boundaries. ♥
