idk talk to me abt school

ik a lot of you are out of school or have already started but my first day (grade 10) is tomorrow nd im jjust sitting around not rlly doing anything and i feel like talking abt school will make me feel more productive

there's not much i can do anymore i've bought some new clothes, school supplies, got my friends and my schedule fiigured out :/

grade 9 started out nicely bc i had marching band activities and made a lot of friends there, and we'd go to competitions and practice together and that was all ncie and fun until semester 2 when i didnt have study hall and id wake up at 3am to finish chemistry hw and write papers and it was a living hell?  i think sophomore year will be much easier seeing as how i dont have chemistry anymore and i have an art and studyhall the whole year

Wow, I'm always surprised to see how many people are younger than me on here. I started my senior this week and trust me when I say try to enjoy it. I know that seems nearly impossible, and trust me I used to wake up super early to finish my hw too (I've even pulled all nighters) but junior year is usually the most rigorous. Colleges look at your classes and their difficulty but junior year always stands out to them for you to take your hard classes then slack off as a senior. I wish you luck with school, don't stress over the small things. Just remind yourself that life isn't all about high school and homework, its about discovering yourself and making mistakes and picking yourself up 11 times when you fall down 10 :)

You're just about to enter high school? I'm your eonni then-_- well it was very awkward for me when I entered the class for the first time, especially when it was time for us to introduce ourself-_- I'm sure you'll got along with your new friends very fast :D

And why you hate chemistry? I love this subject tho .-.

idk. thinking back now as a senior, freshman year was just. i want to go back. qq. sophomore year's pretty important though. it's when you really need to start getting...in control????? pmsl. junior year is the most important yes but colleges tend to look at both 10th and 11th grade as priority.

and the extracurriculars lol

join a rly easy club n stick with it until senior yr so when u apply 4 college u can can you were in _______ club for 3 yrs trust me, also run for a position, yeh. i dnt really remember high school that much anymore but yeh.

yo i started grade 10 literally last week
my classes are pretty ok

MY TEACHER IS SO TERRIBLE WHATTTTT
already kinda sick of school tho
got whap and eng. honors. like.. goodbye..
+ i get rlly drained evry day after school b/c im an introvert

I remember my second year of high school, which I could probably say to you is not that bad and will probably be better than when you were a freshmen, but don't take my word for it ^^
Starting next week I will be in my third year of high school and well...I'll just have to wait and see how it goes...

oh god. grade 10, not that it's comforting, but it's much better than grade 11.

eww when I was in high school I hated Chemistry with passion too, so you're in sophomore? I thought you were older srsly. I'm in a living hell right now trying to get into college, doing a kind of pre-college course idk how's that thing called. Fortunately I'm almost over with that, just another month and it's over and then college, bravo! -.-
