I can't make a decision/ Pros and cons

About what I said about the whole basketball thing on my last blog post? Well.. I've been having a lot of thoughts, second thoughts I guess.

I feel there's a lot of pros and cons of continuing my basketball team again and I can't seem to make a decision if I should quit or not.

If I quit basketball:

Pros:

-I can do more extracurricular activites

-I can try out for main stage (the play) for drama or do the backstage stuff (which is so fun)

-I can join this dance club thing that comes once in while

-Less stress

-Stop having to feel unconfident and comparing myself

-wont felt left out (I get left out a lot because my teammates are really loud while I'm very quiet. And they usually don't talk to me during or after practices)

-not as fun as it used to be

-focus on studying

Cons/What I can do better:

-I can keep practicing to get better

-try to be more positive

-try to build up more confidence

-I won't have a sport to play

-I might regret quitting

-I still like basketball

I feel like I should go towards more of my pros that I wrote down, but I'm not quite sure. lol I know that I've always asked you guys, but I need help again ;3; sorry.

Tbh, in my opinion, I feel like you want to do/try something new besides basketball!
I mean, basketball could be a hobby still and you still play it once in a whilee but you want to do something else besides basketball.
Which is good! In my opinion! XD
Always try something and if it's less stress, it's good! Plus, if there's more Pros than Cons, then yeah! XD
Good luck!

I've felt sort of the same way before you know :) To me it seems you perhaps want to try something new and go ahead with stopping basketball. And it's not bad if you do ! Not like you'll never get to play anymore, plus by doing other activities (backstage, dance) it opens you up to more opportunity and you'd probably end up widening your circle of friends :) if you choose to stay with basketball team, (and I know this experience) it's not like the success in improving will come straight away, but working harder slowly helps. I know talking to your team mates may seem hard, but if you do it a little at a time, they'll get use to you talking over time. (I used tone tather quiet as well)

In the end, it's definitely opportunity cost but you'll definitely know which one you'd rather do if you think about it enough.
Really wishing you kick and hope I helped ^^ let me know which you chose to go with !
