As every Asian drama fan i am very big fan of famous series Itazura na kiss/Playful kiss.While everyone is patiently waiting for 12 Septmeber to come i decided to introduce you whole hystory of this drama series.Someone might this know already but as i am too excited to just sit still and do nothing, i decided to write my own opinions and so on!So let's get started!

    TADA KAORU

This lady here is very talented manga writer who is the original author of all Itazura na kiss series.She was the one who created the Irie Naoki and Aihara Kotoko we know now.She made other manga's but Ita series was her most popular work.She have husband and a son.The manga was out in 1990 and it became popular very quickly.The manga have 23 volumes and still the manga is unfinished.Why it's still unfinished?Not because Tada is very lazy but because she had accident.She and her family were moving to other town and while she was carrying boxes to her new house she sliped on something and strongly hit her head.She was few days in coma but soon she passed away.Many of us wish that the manga will be one day finished but right now there aren't any news of finishing the manga since everyone want it unfinished and untouched because it was her job to write it and as she couldn't they let it be as a memory of her.If she is watching us in Heaven i'm sure she is smiling as people made her work even more better through lot of adaptations.Rest in peace Tada Kaoru we send you lot of love up there.

 ITAZURA NA KISS 1996 (Japan)

This is the very first live action adaptation.In the process of filming Tada Kaoru was still alive and even took photos with the two main leads.The genius Irie Naoki was played by Takashi Kashibawara and the clumsy stupid girl Aihara Kotoko was played by Aiko Sato.The drama was popular as it was first adaptation but in my opinion it wasn't exactly like the manga?I respect this drama as it's first but there were some scenes that weren't the best but we can blame the year it was made!Gosh i was borned one year later!XD It's really sad that this drama ended with how to say..unfinished ending?Very unfinished but that's because the manga was still in process of writing so they shoot until the manga allowed them.The acting was very good but i think Aiko Sato was a bit...a bit loud for me?Lol when she shouted Irie-kun it wasn't normal shout it was like this....ehm IRIEEEEEEE-KUUUUUUUN it was very high pitched and i laughed many times as i watched it!These two actors made cameo in newest version of this series that i will mention later!

 IT STARTED WITH A KISS 2005 (Taiwan)

This is the second adaptiation of this drama and it comes from Taiwan!I was shocked when i watched it.The main leads of Naoki in this drama called Zhi Shu and Aihara Kotoko here Xang Qin were played so well!I never watched taiwanese drama before but this really got my heart!I thought it will be something boring since this season have 30 episodes!The first japan adaptation had only 9 so this is a big difference!The acting was amazing and the actors Joe Cheng and Ariel Lyn took the role i think also to their hearts.They played so well that i was questioning if they are real couple in real life!Their chemistry was just amazing and fabulous and all these kind of words.Sometimes you might see this dragging but never drop this drama in middle!It's worth watching it whole so you will really get into the plot.This verion was more detailed and deep.The characters were well developed and you didn't saw Naoki/Zhi Shu turn into opened and sweet guy in one episode!This drama was well planned and i must clap the director and script writer.This drama was funny,sad and heart warming.Nothing was missing there for me and still to this day i think it's the best adaptation of all the time.If you still didn't watch it than go right now!Don't waste your time on some current dramas and go watch this!I rewatched it million times and even with my mom!This drama is for all age categories even very old ones!

 COWOK IMPIAN 2006 (Indonesia)

This is Indonesian series of this manga and well...I don't have idea how it is since i can't find it anywhere to watch it!Sorry guys but it's the truth!If i find it i will watch it for sure but now....I still didn't found it.

 THEY KISS AGAIN 2007 (Taiwan)

This is the sequel to the drama It started with a kiss.I was so so glad they made sequel and developed the story even more!I was also happy that they didn't changed the main cast and they changed just their hair cuts which i love!The story was beautiful and the first episode which was their honeymoon was just.....arrrghhhh u get nose bleed in one scene!Yes finally in only this adaptation they showed their very first night as married couple!It was very sweet and real.This drama sequel wasn't always just unicorns and butteflies but also hard ships that are real.They had to learn lot of things so at the end they become a real married couple.They are marriage fights which are very intesne.I must admit i'm not emotional type but damn i was crying in some episodes where they were fighting!Also i was glad that in this episodes it wasn't Kotoko/Xiang Qin jealous but our dear Naoki/Zhi Shu this time learned what this emotion is.The acting was even better than in the first season and this drama was just...how to say it....I can just wrap it that it was pure perfection and every asian drama fan should watch it.I still think this kind of plot is the best among all dramas i saw and believe me i saw LOT of dramas...This is just pure love we all wish to experience!

 ITAZURA NA KISS 2008 (Japan)

This is anime version of this series...Yeeeeey it was so cute and fluffy.This anime have 25 episodes and it was well made and the ending was well made.I was like jumping on the chair when i saw the ending because finally from all the adaptations only in this they have baby!With this series i became ''baby addict'' since everyone who is fan wish for baby!In this anime there was everything..It was really close to They kiss again which is taiwanese sequel.Only difference i see it's really the baby!Maybe you are suprised that this is the only version with complete ending..Maybe you are asking yourself ''What idea did they got for the ending to be so perfect?!''The answer is very simple.Husband of Tada Kaoru came to help the creators of this anime!He is the only one who knows the whole ending to this series since his late wife told him everything.So if you watched this you can think of it as really offical ending of this series.Big thanks to Shigeru Nishikawa who told the writers the whole story.Dear Nishikawa you made all fan's around the world happy with your decision to reveal the ending!Lots of love from all fans!

 PLAYFULL KISS 2010 (South Korea)

I think that every drama fan watched this already.This is the Korean version of this drama with 16 episodes and 7 special YouTube episodes which have 13 minutes.The main girl is here named Oh Ha Ni which is played by Jung So Min and Baek Seung Jo which is played by Kim Hyun Joong.This was my second korean drama and my first impression was very good.It brought me into world of Ita kiss!But after i watched the other versions i must admit that this wasn't the best...Sorry guys!The acting didn't have much chemistry and yeah i read between Seung Jo's lines but...a big but is that through all series he didn't show me any change in his feelings towards Ha Ni.In every other version i saw the big change but in this..no..That was really a big sad part.But still i rewatched it because my love for it won't change!Between in this adaptation i felt the biggest anger to Seung Jo's/Naoki's small annoying brother...Yeah in this version he was the most annoying thing!The whole drama was for me too happy...They didn't show me any big drama or life struggles...So as a relaxing drama thumbs up but as a well developed drama no.

 ITAZURA NA KISS LOVE IN TOKYO 2013 (Japan)

And finally we are back in Japan with latest adaptation of this manga!Yuhuuuu finally Japan is back to claim their spot.This drama have 16 episodes and the cast is very young and refreshing!Kotoko Aihara is played by Miki Honoka and our cold genius boy Naoki Irie is played by Yuki Furukawa!They have 10 years between them but wow...They really don't look like it!The way they acted was...amazing.Even if Miki was back than 15 i think she didn't act on her age!She was very mature and proffesional.As i say, she didn't hold back!She poured her feelings into her role and accept all the things....She didn't seem nervous about kissings or any other touching.That's called really good acting!From episode 1 they acted so natural even if they didn't know each other much!I am at nights rewatching these series as it's so cute and all.In this series appeared a big cameo from very first adaptiation of Itazura na kiss Aiko Sato and Takashi Kashibawara.These two played doctor and nurse and maybe you missed one important detail!Aiko Sato and Takashi had on their hospital clothes name tags.On their tags were written ''Irie Naoki'' and ''Irie Kotoko''!Yeah...subbers i think didn't translate it but i saw behind the scene and they show it to cameras!Anyway th series ended a bit....dissapointing?As it ended up only with their wedding...But good news are..There will be second season!

 ITAZURA NA KISS LOVE IN OKINAWA 2014 (Japan)

Okay so this will be short one episode special to Itazura na kiss Love in Tokyo and i am so excited!As many of you know it will be 3 hours and 20 minutes long(as far as i know!).And all it will be about their honeymoon!We all know Miki is still young but please..She took the role and she must've consider already the risks she's taking.Gosh they won't show heir body so please...Just their faces on bed would be enough!So let's see how it will be!I am rewatching the trailer over and over again!Let August pass fast please!Also the special have different director so..let's hope he won't dissapoint us!If you didn't know the first season was directed by female.

 ITAZURA NA KISS LOVE IN TOKYO 2 2014 (Japan)

This will be the offical second season to the drama Itazura na kiss Love in Tokyo.It's rumored to air in winter or right after the special episode that is in 12th September.This season should be about the marriage struggles and also Naoki becoming doctor and Kotoko nurse.And as always we hope for a....BABY!So let's see how good it will be!
