again, again and again!

Apparently, I  have been plagiarized by someone who is stupid enough to not notice how harsh this site can be when it comes to plagiarizing.

If I said I’m not pissed, I would be lying. As a matter of fact, my fic had been plagiarized for a few times in the past and surprisingly, this time, it’s not the same fic ‘Found You’, but rather, ‘Roommate: Idol Special’.

I’m not going to reveal who the author is and she wouldn’t know about this blog post because she’s not in my friend list.

Cutting to the chase, she didn’t create the same show I’m writing. Instead, she writes a popular variety show that revolves around male idols dating female idols just like WGM with different format.

My version

The thing that she copied mine is her forewords. She used some of my words and altered them, using the same layout of icons. The only thing she didn’t plagiarize is the AllKpop layout (though the layout is almost same as mine). I even subscribed to her story since she has subscribers-only, only to see whether she copied mine or not. I wasn’t surprised because she did copy some of mine like the title’s layout and et cetera.

And you know, I literally laughed out loud because she even copied my author’s note! It was totally cringe-worthy.

I’d love to send a report but after thinking she has just started the fic (currently three chapters) and has 200++ subscribers.

What do you think I should do, guys?

lol i really want to say something meaningful but all i think about is already taken by the other commenters... hahaha
but anyway, i agree that you should talk to her or report her when she's not cooperating... you're a good author and it if anyone wants to "be you" by plagiarizing...

I think you should report to admin. Or maybe you can ask her to change her introduction/story a bit and her casts. All the best! :)

Tbh, just tell her to change the foreword. I doubt that the entire story is the same as yours so by reporting her, you're possibly destroying her original content. I advise that you just tell her to change the foreword and warn her not to do it again (:

Honestly I don't think you should report her. If she only copied your foreword you can easily ask her to change it as she was plagiarizing your foreword and then problem solved. If you report her when she doesn't have the same content as you in the actually story, you possibly just ruined all her hardwork. If the content within the story is the same then I guess it would be right to report her. I'm not saying copying your foreword is right because you also put alot of effort into it but it's something that can be easily fixed.

you should report her. i mean, she got so many subscribers for copying your work so she doesn't deserve them.
maybe you could talk to her first before reporting to see if she would take it down or not.
