Help please?!

So..i was thinking of making the 'book' version of Boys Over Flowers here on AFF. BUT.....would that be plagurism?

The thing i am most scared about is ruining the film by writing bad chapters. TT_TT

Please help. Give me some advice and tell me if its plagurism.

its not plagiarism if you didn't do the same as the drama...
change the characters and change a bit of the original story line
make it 50/50
half of your imagination and half is the original....
then people will know the original story is BOF, but have a little bit different of story line....

I think it's only plagiarism if you use the exact same story and the same characters. Like... you can use the same characters but put them in a different setting/story and then it's a fanfic with those characters or you can use a similar story and maybe change the names of the characters and it's a story based off of BOF ^^
So long as you note that you're basing it off of BOF though I don't think anyone could say anything against it no matter what you do.

I don't think it would be plagiarism if you change the plot though. You can have some of it the same as the drama itself but I think you need to change a few things. I've read a few stories where the plot is slightly similar to a drama but they've tweaked a few things. I used the same idea from Just You and made my story; the 3 months contract thing. :D I'm not sure though, I think you should ask other people.
