Might I start by saying how awesome of a family I have. Well...some of the time XD

So Christmas day was spent at my aunt and uncle's house...the ones with the personal issues going on. That's another story, however.

So I walk in the door and my 4 1/2 year old cousin is playing on the floor with some new toy. He says hello, but I bend down in his face. "Buddy, did Santa come and bring you presents last night?" I ask.

What does my cousin do? He points over to the tree where all of his presents are and says, "Yeah, apparently."

Then later on, we decide to play a family game. It's just my mom, dad, me, my aunt and uncle, my aunt's mom, my aunt's brother, and my aunt's sister in law. I decide to sit next to her brother, only to realize that the game requires single dollar bills. I lean over to her brother.

"Ricky, do you have five singles?"

He laughs and nods. "Of course I do, I'm a wigger."

LOLwhut? I hope I don't offend anyone~ He's freaking hysterical.

As we play, it gets competitive...it's basically going around in a circle hoping you can retain your money. So my uncle loses and yells "What the !"

I tell him to calm down and take my turn. What happens? Naturally I lose too and shout some obsenities.

But this is what makes my day worthwhile. Even though the only two biological relatives there with me today were my uncle and cousin, my aunt's family makes me feel like I'm always at home. It's been that way since I was born. And even though I was sick as anything, they still didn't care.

So everyone wanted an updated Christmas list of stuff that I got...I'll give you all basics without going into crazy detail...And some selcas and pics will be updated tomorrow ;)

Of course I got presents from friends. I got a volume of a manga that I like from a friend in school, and a magnet from another friend. And there's more to come.

I don't usually like picking favorites, but there were three very meaningful gifts that I was given this year:

1. Hello the Repackage Album. The package was an unusual shape, being that the case is actually more of a booklet. I opened it (being from my parents) and stared at its contents in disbelief. My mom and I had discussed our struggling financial situation for the year, and she had told me not only could she not locate any of the kpop albums online that I wanted, but we didn't have the money for any of them. And for her to have found Hello was so incredibly amazing. My dad kinda looked at it with disapproval, being the racist he is, but he got over it when he saw how thankful I was to get it. That album got me into kpop in the first place, so it's very important to me.

2. A hand-crafted clay necklace of Zico. So my friend who got me into kpop made me this. She went to a holiday party another friend was hosting that I couldn't go to, and said she'd stop by to drop off my present. I took the contents out of the bag, and her work is flawless. It is adorable, fits on the surface of 2 of my fingers, and is absolutely incredible. The amount of time she spent on making this charm for me is something I'll never know, but she was like, "I figured that making you something of Zico would be the best bet. I'm rooting for you!" So now Pocket Zico and Pocket Yunho are my two favorite necklaces (Yes, I have a Pocket Yunho, as I call them, because they're so small. Sharona actually bought me Yunho XD).

3. Under The Mistletoe. What is this, you might ask? It's a oneshot...a JiNi oneshot written by a very dear friend of mine. She thought that since she couldn't actually give me anything for Christmas, she'd write me a oneshot instead to show her love. So by the time I got to the end of the story, I cried. So I reread it...and cried some more. And repeat. I know she knows I'm thankful for the effort she put into it and the fact that she believes that I can meet Zico one day...but I wish there was someway I could truly express my gratitude for her support and friendship ♥

Yes...this was my Christmas. I didn't get to draw all of the portraits that I wanted to for everyone, but I do promise you all that if you asked for one (and I'm still willing to take requests!) that it WILL get done. And I want to wish everyone the very happiest of holidays. I'd say something for each one of my friends, but sadly, no one wants to hear me ramble any more than I already do, so I'll leave you to enjoy the rest of your holiday~ ♥
