Girls' Generation's Sooyoung has been confirmed to star in the upcoming MBC Wed-Thurs drama 'My Spring Day', and she'll be joining actor Kam Woo Sung for a lead role!

An MBC rep confirmed on the 17th, "Kam Woo Sung and Sooyoung will star in the new MBC Wed-Thurs drama 'My Spring Day' Set to air in September."

The drama portrays the love story of a terminally ill patient who gets a heart transplant and ends up meeting the husband of the donor who passed away. Kam Woo Sung plays the role of Kang Dong Ha, who is a single dad who loses his wife due to an unfortunate accident and is left to raise his two kids. Sooyoung will play the role of Lee Bom Yi, who gets a chance at a new life from her heart transplant.

'My Spring Day' is set to air following 'Fated To Love You' this September!
