Why is every author making their stories subbies only? ==;

It's starting to get annoying now and I even ceebs clicking it to check it out.

I know one of my stories is subbies only, but that's because it's incomplete AND it's being edited.

I'm not aiming this at a certain person or to my friends here on AFF, but someone please give me a decent reason why authors are doing this?

Is it so they can get karma? //sigh

sorry if I came off as rude. I'm just pissed and I can't seem to find a good completed fic that IS NOT a subbies only one.

Some do that because their fics are being plagarised. There are many reasons why authors set their stories as subbies-only, not everyone does it for karma

i didnt really see what's wrong with that at first... But then many people complained about it.. I started hating it. And now when I see some stories with subcribers only, but just reading the foreword makes me wanna puke... Grammar mistakes, tense of the verbs -_-

Their storylines are not differennt from the others nor more special yet they still set subcribers only... Lol
