Butterflies and rainbows,

That’s what you want from me

I'm not think kind of person

I don’t think of candy meadows and ice cream villages

Im not a bubbly person

You shouldn’t expect that from me

Im deep

I scan through the dark recesses of my mind

To find only few thoughts you want me to have

You expect me to be a cheery person

Im not like that

My mind isn’t like that

My work shows for it

Yes I can smile

And laugh

And sing

And have fun

But that’s what humans do

Everyone has a dark side

A side that’s nothing but grief and sadness

That’s the side I write about

Don’t take me for someone who has an infinite number of problems

Because I don’t

Yes I have my downfalls and regretful, haunting moments

But that doesn’t mean I'm the person you think I am

Im what you see

Not what you want

Both inside and out

Don’t ask me to change

Youre only going to make this worse
