I've made new friends with the Chinese exchange students at my school.

At school I'm a member of the Chinese committee and for almost a year we've been preparing stuff and emailing our sister school in China and hoped for a student exchange to happen. And it has finally happened!

3 girls from China had arrived at my school a couple days ago. They're really nice, they were shy at first, but they soon fitted in. I got another chance to talk to them today at school and they are now more confident. Oh, and I almost forgot they're really good at English. I got along really well with a girl called Yan Mi'er, she's a year older than me. She helped translate some of their conversation that the 2 other girls were having. She told me about the difference with schools in China compared with schools here in England. She also told me how beautiful China is and she recommends that I visit Beijing and another city which name I've forgotten.

I managed to exchange emails with Mi'er and another girl called Wang Yuting.

Now we can keep in contact with each other!

They're going back to China tomorrow. :(

I hope I'll get the chance to see them again in the future. The Chinese committee is hoping some students from my school to China next year, hopefully that will happen and I will be one of those students.
