Well, when I first heard the news, I was like, wow another SNSD member is dating, and her boyf was none other than EXO's Baekhyun. I totally ship them and I really don't understand why "many fans felt betrayed by their instagram posts". (seen from other sources) Hmm, their instagram accounts may be for fans, but to me, it's their accounts and they have the rights to post what they want. I mean, if you have a boyf/girlf, wouldn't you do that too?

Okay, Baekhyun may not be my ultimate bias, but I do like EXO. I wouldn't call 'love' as I believe 'loving idols' and 'liking idols' are two different thing. But whatever. So perhaps I would not be so called 'affected' by the news. However, seeing articles coming up such as 'Fans called Baekhyun a betrayer while he was hosting Inkigayo' or 'Fans asked Baekhyun to leave Exo' was really too over.

I mean, if you were to host an event and one of your frenemies came up and called you a 'betrayer', how would you feel? Embarrassed I guess. Does he deserve it? Well, in a sense yes (because of their 'betrayal' ?), but Baek is still a human after all. He do have the rights to date whoever he wants. 

Hmm maybe it could due to "he only debut for two years" (seen from other sources) and "not wanting to date until he is thirty (?)", that many of his fans reacted like that. But did you see any SONEs asking Taeyeon to leave SNSD? No right? So I believe all of these are due to fans over-reacting.

We must also understand that many of EXO's fans are younger than 18 years, that our thinking isn't the same. (I'm 18 btw, and I am not saying I'm mature or sth but whatever) And somemore with the internet, anyone (like me) can post various articles on various topics. It could be the sasaengs' work, although I couldn't understand why are they doing those things (google them) in the first place.. It is like, an official article, with each posts posted/reblogged/commemted/compiled by various writers, each adding salt, oil or even MSG to make that one simple article complicated.

So my point is, Baek and Taeyeon are dating, it's not the end of the world. It's not like Baekhyun/Taeyeon is going to date any of us (fans/strangers, whatever).

Just read the articles and please do not hurt our idols. Remember why you chose them as your bias in the first place, and continue with that. Public image and private life are two worlds apart. In this case, Baekhyun is still our 'bacon' (as what I've seen online), Taeyeon is still our 'kid leader'.
