Writer/Reader Survey (stolen from lyasvel)

State your fanfiction pen name - jungreum

Are you more of a reader or a writer? - Writer

When did you first start reading or writing fanfiction? - I started reading in 2010, but I started writing just this 2013.

What's the first fanfiction you ever read or wrote? What is it about? - The very first fanfic I have read was a Taengsic one, wherein Jessica was about to die but then she met Taeyeon.

What ratings do your read/write? - I write rom-com and fluff, and I am currently trying to figure out how to write using the mystery genre. But when I read, any genre will do (though I don't read hardcore fics).

What was your first fandom? - SONE! ♥

List all the fandoms you have read or written in. - Exo + other idols and OC's, B1A4, SNSD, and others that won't fit in this list.

What is your favorite fandom to read or write about? - Exopink. And basically other idols paired with OC's.

Any fandom you would like to write in? - Daragon.

What was your first ship? - Taengsic.

List all the pairings you have read or written in. - Hyokai, Baekji, Taengsic, Yoonyul, Kaistal, Yulti, Yulsic, Badeul, Shinyoung, Daragon, Yulhun, Hunhan, Kaisoo.

What is your favorite pairing to read or write about? - I love reading Hunhan; I enjoy writing idol + OC's.

Is there any pairing you refuse to read or write about? - Hm... None at the moment (I love all pairings... I guess).

What is your favorite genre? - Um, romance, fluff, mystery, school life and comedy (that's a lot).

What is your least favorite genre? - Angst.

Any genre you would like to read or write for? - Mystery.

List all of your favorites writer? - Um, I don't have any here on AFF, though, since most of them are in Livejournal or Tumblr.

Which writers inspire your own work? - Um, Jay Asher, Kiera Cass, and Bob Ong (yeah!).

What story has the most impact to you, so much that you remember it all the time? - 'Thirteen Reasons Why'.

What is the website you use most to read or write fanfiction? - AFF and Livejournal.

Any certain things you avoid reading or writing about? - I avoid reading fanfics with murdered grammar. In writing, I avoid putting my own experiences in the story.

What do you enjoy best about fanfiction in general? - I enjoy reading about alternate characterizations about idols. And awesome plots too. And also the ability of the fans to create wonderful stories about pairings.

Does the number of reviews tell how good a story is? - No. Everyone has their own opinions, so I think reviews cannot be that accurate. A reviewer might enjoy the story, but a reader didn't, or vice versa.

How long should a chapter be? - 1000-2500 words will be enough (unless you're doing a drabble).

Have you ever flamed someone? - Flamed? Shouldn't that be "flames"? (Loljk okay I'm lame, whoever knows what I'm referring to must be from the same place or school or neighborhood as me). No, I haven't flamed someone. If I don't like the story then I'll just stop reading and unsubscribe.

Have you ever been flamed? - No. Not yet.

Do you roleplay online? - No, because I don't know how to.

WRITERS ONLY:

How many published fanfictions have you written? - Five.

Which one of your fanfictions has the most words? The most upvotes? The most subscribers? The most views? The most comments? How many? - Most words, upvotes, subscribers would be "Begin Again", while for most comments and views would be "Until I Found You".

At the moment, which one of your fanfictions is your favorite or your most proud of? (you can included unpublished fanfictions). - Um, I'd say "Begin Again", since I was able to finish it despite busy school schedules.

Out of all characters you have written, which one do you feel you identify the most with? - I don't have any, since I'm not fond of using my own experiences or traits with the characters.

Do you use beta reader? - What's a beta-reader?

What warnings have you used on your stories? - Um, I once put a warning about some grammatical mistakes and lame jokes.

What makes you happy the most as a writer? - The readers and their comments (good or bad). They're daebak, since they motivate me to write and they even help me in improving my skill.

Have you ever stolen something from another person's work? - Manga scenes, movie lines, and song tidbits inspire me to write. And I guess that doesn't count as stealing.

What do you feel is your biggest challenge when writing? - Writer's block, the tendency to procrastinate and when real life and school work gets in the way of writing.

Do you have any certain ritual to do before or while or after you write? - I need to have music, and food.

Do you actively advertise your story or request for reviews or upvotes? - No, since I don't have enough karma points to advertise and ask for reviews. About the upvotes, I just let the readers do it.

Would you ever want a trailer for a fanfiction you've written to be made? - Of course. Anyone interested to make a trailer for me for free? ;)
