On the eighteenth of June, South Korea national football team played against Russia national football team in the World Cup 2014. That day, at Gwanghwamun Square, South Korean football fans, clad in red, gathered to watch to match between Russia and South Korea. Thousands came out early in the morning to watch a live television broadcast of 2014 World Cup football match against Russia. We passed by Gwanghwamun Square in a shuttle bus to Insadong when the South Korea football team scored the first goal against Russia. The spectators orchestrated a red wave that ripped through the open space giving standing ovation to the football team. We watched as they chorused the cheers as one.
