chinese — yes, beginner's level still. My Chinese is very very basic. As in still the 'ni hao' level.

Why do you want to learn Chinese?

One of the main reasons is that I am currently living in China but the language teaching is very bad. We were only taught the most basic things and my comprehension level is zero when people talk! And I don't think we are getting anymore Chinese classes as we are in English medium. Another main reason is that I want to be able to undertstand Chinese songs and shows (EXO M my LOVE!!!^^') I want to join this course to finally make some progress in Chinese, so I am really grateful to you guys for starting this!

» I think that it will be good having a group to learn with, as we can share experiences and it will motivate us to learn when we see others doing good as well

» this looks really fun, especially with more people!!^^ and having fun while learning is essential to remain interested in the subject

been wanting to learn Mandarin for ages, I hope you start soon! Once again, thank you so much for starting this, you are awesome!^^ on and for Chinese characters, is there any way of testing whether we can write them for real? As in with pen and paper?
