Written to: All K-pop fans (doesn't matter if you are a real fan or fake fan)

I am posting this blog on Asianfanfic because of all the crazy things that had happened during this past two months. Kris filed a lawsuit against SM Entertainment to nullify his contract. It rumored that he had heart problems which is a total fake rumor. Now this about Baekhyun oppa and Taeyeon unnie dating with fans bashing and cursing in Taeyeon's instagram. 

I wasn't quite shocked as Baekhyun oppa's fans were since I worked as a behind a scene worker at SM Entertainment. So I actually knew that beforehand myself. 

Before getting into the main topic, let me introduce myself. 

Annyeonghasaeyo, yeoreobeun, Eun-Mi imnida. Hello, everybody, I am Eun-Mi. You should have noticed why I can type in English. That's because I was born in the United States of America before I moved to Korea when I was ten. My mother language is Chinese (Cantonese). I am proficient in three other languages: English, Chinese (Mandarin), and Korean. I work as a behind the scene worker with some of Korea's largest music company. 

But still as I got online right after filming, I got news about Baekhyun oppa's dating rumors all over the place. Man, oh, man, I was so hurt when people said that he doesn't look good with her. I understand because a lot of stuff happened during EXO's comeback. Kris's lawsuit and now this, dating scandal. 

Idols are also human beings. They have the right to love whoever they like. You are just their fan. I understand people ship themselves with the idol they love, but it will never happen. You can't possibly marry them because fans are people that they know but not too well. Yes, Baekhyun and Taeyeon can be your biases, but why are you guys being so damn selfish? I don't understand, I really don't. 

If you are a real EXO stan, then you should be happy for them, not going on Taeyeon unnie's instagram account and cursing her out. Yes, people say commenting on this because I work for them is useless, but people have to wake up. The world just doesn't work like this. You can't be so damn blind and stubborn and have things go your way. Life just doesn't work out like this. People have to think before commenting hurtful comments on public websites. People can't only think about themselves; they also have to think about what others think. 

People say don't judge a book just by looking at its cover. The cover might look disgusting at first, but the content inside is rich adn moist. You know that saying, people have been saying that from day 1. Then why are you judging them? How dare you say that he is not the perfect one for Taeyeon unnie!!!!!! Do you think that you can make her the happiest woman on earth? I don't think so. Think before you say something. 

Not every insult can be excused. If you say something hurtful to the wrong person, you know the consequences. They will beat the sh** out of you. So please stop putting something behind the words 'No offense'. Not anyone can ecxcuse the insult behind a joke. 

And back to Kris and the lawsuit, yes, I know that everybody feels disappointed because you never thought this would happen to a group that have only debuted for two years. But people change over time. Idols are also people. Bashing over SM Entertainment won't make it better. Because if it wasn't for SM Entertainment, would you see talented stars such as Super Junior, Girls' Generation, TVXQ, F(x), and SHINee perform on stage? No, you might hate SM Entertainment for the way it's treating its artists, but you still have to think Lee Soo Man for finding them. 

Being a real EXO stan means you have to support each and every one of the members. No matter what Kris decides, real fans will support him 100%. A fake fan or sasaeng would only childish enough to make hurtful jokes and post harsh and hurtful pictures on the internet, so real fans can hate them enough as sasaengs hate them. This is not a joke because jokes can be really hurtful for us human beings. If you continue to be childish and continue on with these type of childish actions, then leave the fandom. Fans don't want to have anything to do with you.

F(x) being underrated, this issue is one concern. But people have to understand that F(x) have their solo activities. They are so busy that they don't have time to prepare for an album. Your childish actions are not going to help the five of them and the company. Hating on the company doesn't mean you have to put all that hate on the five members. Gosh, the world has turned completely around. Just be patient and the five of them will come back with an album. 

Put yourself into Baekhyun oppa and Taeyeon unnie's shoes.

One day you met your prince charming or princess. All the people you know are opposing your relationship with him or her. How would you feel? Are you going to be happy when you know that all your friends are opposing your relationship? No. I thought so. This is how they feel. As Yuri said, “We also want to be free about dating, but the problem is if the public can accept it freely. That’s the problem." 

Your ultimate bias are going to get married someday. Are you going to be the one who's getting married to him or her? No. You're just a fangirl or fanboy. Do you really expect that they are going to stay single for the rest of their lives? No. They are human beings just like us. Just because they are idols doesn't mean that they can't love. Bashing either one of them doesn't change the reality that they are dating. Just get over it!!!!!!

Real fans will never leave the fandom; they will only stay and support them while fake fans are just pretending to support them. Real fans understand their struggles and will support behind their backs 100%. Real fans know what's the best for the idols they like. Are you a real fan who will support them? Or are you a fake fan who are pretending to support them? Pick one of the choices: be a real fan or be a fake fan.
