Summer Reading. Yay.

So since I am in the AP classes this year I have to do a reading over the summer. I have to read The Great Gatsby and The Book Thief and do a book report on both. They are both due the first day of school. Can I just.. Can I just not?

Do any of you guys have to do this? This is the first year anyone has ever had to do this at my school. I wonder if we are behind the times or nah.

Nope never. But really I don't think they gave that much importance to reading at school.

I had a ton of summer reading when I took IB: All Quiet on the Western Front, Cry, the Beloved Country, Fahrenheit 451, etc. We did presentations, though.
