Ellona had a normal child hood. Nothing sad or extravagant. She was constantly in her brothers shadow though. There was nothing she could do to outshine Kevin. If she got good grades, her parents praised Kevin for his; if she learned a new dance move, they praised Kevin for his dancing skills. He didnt try to outshine her, it just happened. Even in school he outshined her. All her friends wanted to hang out at her house so they could hang out with him. Kevin knew their parents favored him and he tired to tread lightly, but it rarely helped.
At the age of fourteen, Ellona decided she wanted to be a professional dancer. She had been dancing for years with her brother and at school, so she wanted to audition for SM Entertainment. They were widely known and they produced some of the best idols. Little did she know, but her brother was going to audition at the same time. When she saw him there she was fuming, but she tried to ignore him. She went right before him and the judges commented about their name and similar faces. When she said they were siblings they wanted to see them dance together. They did it, but she hated it. Both were accepted, but her parents hardly said anything to her. They praised Kevin for his stunning performance. Kevin had a minture celebration for his sister.
Things were fine when they were trainees together, but when Kevin became Vin and debut, things got worse. Her parents all but ignored her, she couldnt even debut, but Kevin could. People would stop her on the streets because she looked like him, the trainees started treating her differently and her friends always wanted to come over to meet up with him. Kevin was the only one who didnt treat her differently. He really tried to fix things between them and he did help, she just couldnt get out of his shadow.
Ellona told her CEO that she wanted to be traded, that she either wanted to be traded or quit. Simtong and SM traded trainees around and she was one of them. She was only a trainee with Simtong for one year before she was informed that she was going to debut. Going to Simtong was the best things she had done. Kevin even stopped by when he heard the news, he couldnt be more happy for her.

Though he can seem stoic and sometimes completely serious, Fie is really a go with the flow kind of guy. He can goofy if he wants, and he's not afraid to call someone out if they're acting stupid. Ellona was walking around Simtong after her audition, trying to find her way out of the building when she bumped into him. He apologized as if it were his fault they ran into each other. She asked for directions out of the building, and he helped her by walking with her to the exit. They're considered a "cute couple" by those who know them. It's one of those everyone thinks they should be dating, but they either don't see it, or they're waiting for the right moment to start dating. They play around a lot. They're nearly always smiling when they're around each other. Ellona always greets him by sneaking up on him and jumping on his back.
