Yeongju is always strong, fiery, bold and confident. These qualities keep him ahead of others. His strength and confidence would be at the same pace during uncertainties and tight situations. BACKGROUND

Yeongju was a twin.

Born Hwang Yeongju, in South Korea. Him and his twin sister Yeji were thick as thieves, Yeongju looked up to her. Whatever Yeji did, Yeongju wanted to do it as well. Yeji started doing dance at the age of ten Of course, Yeongju wanted to dance too, if Yeji was doing it then Yeongju must do it as well, soon Yeongju grew out of it after their mother started putting him in gymnastic and singing classes and he found that flipping and twirling around and his newfound talent in singing was more exciting and interesting to him.

Soon, Yeji presented at the age of 14 as a beta, their parents were super happy, since in their blood lines there hasn’t been an omega for generations having practically been breeded out (their father being an Alpha and their mother a beta) so having one alpha and two betas in the family the Hwang’s were able to live easier in society. Yeongju was late in presenting so he had about a month or two to hope for an alpha or beta presentation. His family was kind of old school with the old idea that omegas being weak and needing others to care for them was still true. They think that omegas aren't valued members of society and should be treated as nothing but an alpha plaything. Yeongju never agreed with his parents views on omegas, neither did Yeji. But the twins kept their opinions to themselves.

Yeji soon got into kpop music, Wondergirls to be exact and vowed to become a kpop star like them. Their parents were okay with it of course being that she’s a beta.

Yeongju also had an interest. He enjoyed Super Junior and SHINee. He had joined his school’s choir to strengthen his already impressive vocal skills. Yeongju hept up his dancing classes so his dance skills were subpar as well. All that was left was to audition for JYP where he wished to debut under with his twin. But their parents told him no, he needed to present first. Yeongju had yet to present, and it had been a whole month. So, he agreed with his parents to wait and helped Yeji film her audition video for one of JYP’s online auditions. Obviously, Yeji got in and a year later she start her training. A month after Yeji's training started marked the end of Yeongju’s life.

He presented as omega.

His parents were livid and were questioning if he just had a heat because he was a beta and they waited for a week which for someone who present as a beta would’ve had either a rut or a heat first then a week later which ever they had first they’d have other one marking them as a Beta.

After a week, Yeongju still hasn't had a rut to signal he was a beta and that's when his parents flipped their . Yeongju was taken to every doctor to figure out why he presented as an omega and not as the family’s most wanted status of alpha or beta.

The doctors all said the same thing, there was nothing wrong with Yeongju, he just present as omega, it’s what the natural selection had chosen for him. After hearing there was nothing wrong and he couldn’t be changed without doing permanent damage. His parents forbid him from leaving home, from pursuing his idol dream, making him the caregiver of the household since that was an omega’s job was to cook and clean and take care of the children. They weren't allowed to have lives because their life was the home.

Yeongju hated it.

He hated it with a passion because the things his mother was doing previously before he presented she completely stopped instead ordering Yeongju to do it.

Yeongju, of course didn’t hate his sub gender, he thought omegas were quite strong and super caring and that was a good thing for where the world was going.

Yeongju was settling into his day to day life of home school (his parents took him out the school he was previously in and started homeschooling him) and cooking and clean, soon coming to love it in his own way but a startling sense of reality came rushing in, in the form of his twin’s news…

She was debuting in a group called ITZY, she told their parents she was preparing right now.

She was finally making her dream come true.

Yeongju felt like he was stabbed with a million and one chopsticks as he realized he still wanted to be an idol, despite his parents saying he wouldn’t make it, omegas are too fragile to handle such a fast paced and competitive atmosphere.

Yeongju wanted to prove them wrong. His grandma from his mother's side who didn’t view omegas in the same light his parents and his father’s side did had been giving him an allowance of about 100 dollars a month since he presented to live on his own away from his parents toxic views.

Yeongju then and there planned his getaway to pursue his dreams.

Yeongju was 17 when he left home and auditioning for entertainment companies.

Yeongju had join Royce because he had failed in auditioning for any other company and once he got in he was happy and excited to be just like his twin sister, he understood and was prepared for the hardships and how harsh people could be when pushed to the limit thanks to Yeji, so Yeongju mostly kept to himself and followed and did what he was told. 

Yeongju was actually in shock and was quick to agree when the ceo came to him and offered for Yeongju to be in the Elite program.
