Behind the new story!

For those who have read it, let's talk about it, shall we? HOHOHO.

As I've written in the description, I started writing this story after watching the Paeksang Awards. Shin Hye was too sad, while Kim Soo Hyun was too happy sooooo I just decided to make that a conflict. Hahahaha. What did you think of Kim Soo Hyun? I actually really like the guy, and he seems really nice in real life so I couldn't make him a jerk. Did you think the break up was believable? Soo Hyun was at the peak of his career around that time, while Shin Hye was extremely busy with FBND, Miracle in Cell No 7, plus being just cast in The Heirs. I feel bad for their fictional relationship, actually, especially since they met while studying in the same university. :(

BUT of course I was rooting for lonely boy, Min Ho! Curious about who the girl he was talking to at that party? For those of you who think she's an actress, she's not. Just a hot girl who hangs out with actors. She could be a model. I was close to naming her, but I didn't want her to be a real character but more as a plot device -- the one that ultimately pushes Min Ho to do something when he's been sitting on his feelings for too long without doing anything about it. Did she and her 'unusual arrangement' with Min Ho bother you too much? Don't worry, baby boy isn't the type to have those kinds of things. Purely fictional! Let's just say I wanted a way to show how Min Ho has changed since he fell in love with Shin Hye. Wink! :D

Okay now for my major concern. Shin Hye's struggle between her hang-ups from the previous relationship, and her growing feelings for Min Ho. I hope it came across alright, because if it didn't, then you might not like Shin Hye's character here too much. I thought it was okay for her to be affected when her ex-boyfriend acts like he's so happy, while she struggles with the feelings that came with seeing him again -- especially when she's still been holding on to the pain from their breakup. But that doesn't mean she has no space in her heart for a lovely man. I hope you didn't think her feelings were too fickle, jumping from Soo Hyun to Min Ho. I'd like to think she's really moved on from Soo Hyun a long time ago, and she's had feelings for Min Ho for quite some time now, it's just that there hasn't been an opportunity for her to fully realize it.

What did you think about Shin Hye and Soo Hyun's conversation? Was that enough for them to really move past the breakup? I actually wanted their closure scene to be short since I didn't want angst galore (and Minshin fans might not like it too much hahahaha). At least they parted ways remembering the good times. And at least Shin Hye now knows that Soo Hyun really did care, and didn't want to hurt her.

What did you think about the last scene when Min Ho and Shin Hye finally got together? Was it okay? I just jumped to the cuteness right away since I really couldn't write anymore conflict. They want to jump each other, they should be able to jump each other just like that. HAHAHA.

Lastly: I realize that the same things that broke Soo Hyun and Shin Hye up can be the same problems that Min Ho and Shin Hye will encounter in their newfound relationship. There isn't really a difference between Soo Hyun and Min Ho in terms of popularity, so basically baby girl has got her plate full. LOL. But this time, Shin Hye is more mature, and she's gone through it once before. Let's just hope she and Min Ho stay strong to protect their relationship from their burgeoning careers (and I mean in real life. HAHAHAHA)

Thanks again for reading this story. I'm honestly proudest of this one to date. Just because I think I've learned so much from writing 'Could It Be... I Like You?' This whole writing fanfic thing has been a journey for me, and it's really amazing how many of you continue to support me with all your encouraging words! I think I might really consider writing for a living after I graduate. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

LOL, when you said you learned so much from writing your ff, I was thinking, now you can jump into a relationship and work it out just like this. Hehehe. I'm glad you're tackling these issues and asking for feedbacks! I want to rumple your hair for being such a good girl! *the cheeks!*

Hi Patti, thank you for sharing with us your BTS :D not many writers wants todo things like this :D i like when you are not naming the HotGirl character bcoz its gonna feel so abvious and the story will become just average ( i wish you know what i mean) no spice hehehe Soo hyun characrer is fine, and as pSH reaction its natural just like some of us will react, arent we sometimes act like her character while we do have a BF but we also enjoy other company n care and feel annoyed when we realized that the 3rd person is starting to change and leaving us? Hehehe... :D to Ive read many minshin AFF and i know its just fiction but your story patti.. Hmm, seems like real, LoL.. Thanks Alot Patti your Minshin story is Awesome..

I like how you write their character.. from KSH, PSH, and LMH.. i think you do justice for them :) I like how you didn't make KSH a really bad guy.. To be honest i like how you write other male that like SH.. from JGS and now KSH.. Really like your minshin fanfic.. make me smile always from reading yours :)

First of all,I'd like to comments about his 'unusual arrangement'.Actually I didn't think about it much when I read your ff because I didn't quite understand what you meant by it,but since you explained it here,I thought..well I thought about this in Min Ho's RL,I was kind of bothered about this possibility *sigh* I mean it's ok if he did it with his real GF,but the thought of him doing it with some hot girls with no commitment *sigh* now I think I won't be able to sleep because of this thoughts.LOL
About MinShin,mianhe..I feel her feeling towards him is not as strong as his for her,but I don't think it would be a problem,because if someone as hot and handsome and gentleman as Min Ho is in love with you,you can't deny but fall for him too :)
And that's a sweet ending for them,Patti ^^

I thought your characterization of the 3 of them were realistic. I imagine someone who didn't get proper closure would have residual feelings of pain even if they're no longer in love with the other person. Her confused feelings then is understandable. So the closure was a good touch. I must admit I didn't fully get or appreciate why she broke up with KSH. Maybe I was just reading so fast. I don't think celebrities are the only ones with 'unusual arrangements' so that didn't bother me that much. Plus this is fan-fiction; I think LMH is a lot more cautious than that in real life. He's not a saint but he would risk his career for a serious relationship but not a fling. I did like the cute at the end, and considering he's been in love for a while & she's been in denial for a long time, it follows logic they'd be eager to kiss. Glad you didn't go beyond that - it is their first kiss after having pent up feelings for a long time. I can imagine them kissing for hours and it being enough and thoroughly enjoyable as they begin discovering each other. LOL I better stop here before I start imagining things.

yeah you should do that..and that Shin is not fickle because believe me when I say that because after she is a human being who needs to be loved because no matter how much you give your all its still not enough..and I don't blame her..you are actually right we don't need anymore struggles to be with each other they've been through a lot...I actually though the girl in the party was you know who but now you mentioned it then I'm relieved but also curious who would that be...kekeke..

by the way KSH is such a nice guy but I was thinking what are his regrets when they broke up and how was he did he went through the same pain that she experience or worse and I hope that's the case but also how did he feel thatShin has finally moved on from him. but to make it more worse its his rival in their respected careers because of. them are both in their peak..
