High School Never Ends

Geez. I feel so old right now for doing this post. It has been how many years since I graduated from high school, and I must say, it was waaaaay different from the one I watched from High School Musical. We didn't have cute singing basketball players, we were not allowed to sing at the cafeteria and use the tables as mock up stage, and we didn't even experiene an awesome prom night (it was good though, but not as fab as the one in the film). Basically, I went through high school like a breeze of summer air (what), but still I was able to get some valuable (life) lessons from my four-year stay inside it.

1. First impressions stay as first impressions. You can never trust students during first days of class. Those impressions they make will only last for about... a week. Aft that, they will turn into different people until the school year ends.

2. Deodorants save humankind. One time during our History class, the whole room was distracted by a stench coming from somewhere. None of us inside were able to last the filthy deadly air, so our teacher was forced to evacuate the whole class to another room. The whole day ended without the culprit caught. And up until now, we still don't know who emitted that incredibly sour armpit scent inside the room. Lesson? An armpit can destroy a whole school, or at least a classroom.

3. Beware of P.E. teachers. Of all the subjects I had in school, Physical Education (or Gym class) is my most-hated subject. Ever. I spent ten years of my life trying to escape that class, but of course, I didn't succeed. Most of my P.E. teachers were terrors. They made us do push-ups, sit-ups, long jumps, sprints, and all other activities that served as burden to physically untalented dorks like me.

4. Stay away from parasites. And by the word parasite, I refer to those students who keep on asking for sheets of paper, borrowing pens, pencils, sharpener, eraser, tissue, and even water jug. Stay away from them, for goodness' sake, or else you'll end up being poor after the school year ends.

5. Friends make high school like fun, tolerable, and easy. Yes, indeed, when you got awesome friends, your whole year will be awesome as well. So make sure that on the first day of classes, you surround yourself with positive people to shun those bad vibes (and bad-smelling bullies) away.

I do hope these tips kind of helped. Because I am now starting to doubt my ability to give tips and advices to people. I hope everyone will have a rocking high school experience and always remember to make your high school student days worthwhile (because come college year, and you'll realize that you weren't prepared for everything after all. Loljk.).
