Does any one know any interesting musicals out there? and do you think broadwaybox is reliable?

My mother and I are planning on watching one, but we cannot decide/aren't familiar with most of them. Their tickets are usually expensive, and we don't want to waste our money on a show that will bore us. My aunt recommended broadwaybox, but I'm not sure...

I've already watched Wicked, Les Mis, and Mystery of Edwin Drood because of class trips.

not something that is intended for kids like disney. That's the only thing we don't want.
