ULZZANGS.

that is why I hate OC fics. Many (like all of he ones I've seen) use ULZZANG pictures. 

On all of the OC fics, they either have a pic of an ULZZANG or describe a cute, and adorable girl, but then try to pass her off as ugly. Now, in 801, you can make any of the male characters ugly by just describing how you made them ugly (if that made sense).

Example-

Luhan was ugly. He always had hair somewhat long and never cared to fix it. Some days, he would walk into school with bed head. Whenever he got pimples, he never even bothered to pop them.

See, now you are imagining an ugly Luhan. But, if an author has a picture of a super pretty girl, they try to make her ugly by saying she has average looks and no one likes her. EH WRONG. If you have a picture of a friggin ULZZANG, NEVER DO THAT OR ELSE I WILL SMOTHER YOU WITH POOP. In all seriousness, please don't have a picture or describe an ULZZANG, but say she's normal. We all know that any guy would fall for a super pretty and super adorable ulzzang. If you can try to find a picture of a girl that isn't an ulzzang. Though I don't suggest you use character profiles. They take the fun out of having the reader learn about the characters. Some writers even tell the readers what happens in the end all in the character profile.

ex (plus typical profile)-

Kim Ae Cha: She has a bubbly personality and is very kind. She loves everything except sports. She also respects her elders and is willing to help. When she meets (instert idol name), he is very cold towards her, but in the end, he falls for her.

Like what the hell man? WHY WOULD YOU GIVE THE STORY AWAY IN THE FRIGGIN PROFILE?! I've seen it so many times and it makes me cringe. If you see any OC fics with a profile like that, then just ex out. You shouldn't have the story spoiled for you in the beginning! Also, I've seen a lot of profiles that say that the girl has a "bubbly" personality. Can't we come up with DIFFERENT ADJECTIVES?!  Like COME ON.

SUMMARY:

1) Don't pass off an ulzzang as ugly (wtf man? That's not cool)

2) Don't use profiles 

if you do use profiles because you didn't feel like listening to me:

3) Don't make it cliché (example above)

4) DON'T GIVE THE STORY AWAY IN THE FREAKING PROFILE I MEAN WTF I DON'T WANNA READ YOUR STORY BECAUSE I KNOW WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN.
