I moved it to here because I plan on deleting Ch53 with this information for the sake of consecutive chapters where the number of chapter on the sideline matches the actual number of chapter said in the title. Heads up guys! So, as most of you may (or not) have heard, there have been several rumors, confirmations, and articles on the issue of Kris leaving EXO, discarding his idol/entertainment life as well as leaving EXO. No matter how much of this is false or true, I WILL be continuing on this story WITH Kris, using his stage name. Even if he does leave EXO and becomes just "Wu Yifan", he will still be "Kris" in "Wolf" with his flying dragon powers, okay? This originally started as an EXO12 fic (ft. Luhan mainly and OC) and it will stay that way. If you can't stand his name anymore, feel free to unsubscribe. If you were Kris-biased, I'm sorry that your bias is in this mess :( So that being said, a little more into this whole matter..

Most of us have 0 connection to SM, Kris, and the business right now, so please refrain from spreading rumors. Regardless of whether Kris is leaving on his own free will because he's sick of idol life or because he's forced to or if he is leaving 100%, things are really complicated right now. SM and EXO are a mess. Fandoms are a mess. Don't make it worse. If you think you're sad/frustrated/angry/etc. think about the members and the staff who had REAL connections with him (like, in person etc). How magnified do you think the feelings would be? Double? Tenfold? Just STOP spreading rumors. Even awareness. Awareness of what? What are we spreading awareness of? What are we spreading awareness for? We don't know, we're not sure, we can never be sure. Honestly. We don't. We can't.

There have been several rumors going around, but they aren't all complete lies. Some are just bs, others are just exaggerated. These are some things I know and if they are confirmed to be true or confirmed to be a rumor (if you're wondering about sth, have sth confirmed, have a correction, have proof from a reliable source, feel free to tell me):

-Kris filed a lawuist against SM. This is true, I'm pretty sure. He used his Chinese name. His reason for doing so, however, I am unsure of and NONE of you guys know (I think it's safe to assume so) so please refrain from making rumors.

-the current CEO is Kim Youngmin, not Lee Sooman. Bashing on the latter is really dumb. Come on -.-

-Kris left to Canada without SM's permission/their comeback was delayed because of him. Unsure. How would we ever know what Kris' true intentions of going to Canada was? To visit family, breath of fresh air (Korea has really bad air pollution. no stars lolll but better than Beijing), to escape from idol life for awhile, the list is endless. But does it matter? He did it because he wanted to. Let him be. As for the comeback delay - we don't really know whether or not it was delayed, let alone it being Kris' fault (except for the ferry incident).

-Baekhyun got slapped/Suho got kicked/Luhan stole a laptop/D.O got punched/etc. I'm pretty sure this is false. Guys, we're talking about Korea here ._. Yeah, okay, there are criminals in Korea but it's a totally different culture. From the second you are born, Koreans are taught to obey their elders and not talk back/rebel/etc. Sometimes, asking "why" to an order given by an adult is considered rude where in the Western culture, it's okay. Welcomed, even. Questioning and curiosity is embraced in most Western cultures. However, generally speaking, in Asian cultures, you're supposed to obey without question. Being polite and obeying your elders are behaviors DRILLED into you and it is practically a MANDATORY quality for Koreans. No, we don't run our lives like military officers, but I highly doubt a Korean member in EXO would dare defy an adult by talking back/screaming/rebelling/etc. over one member. I'm not questioning their loyalty, I'm simply seeing this from a different perspective. Although I'm not Chinese, I have several Chinese friends, and I know respect is a big thing in China as well. There are rebellious people in Korea, but it's not like what many of you guys may think. it's not in Korea, it's studystudystudy (unless you're a gangster......). Seriously. Unless you're actually a gangster, texting in class is the baddest thing you can do in class. Ditching isn't an option because education in Korea is INSANELY hard. Like students actually have to go to extra classes after school and they legit don't come home until 10PM or 12AM. I'm not exaggerating, this actually happens. It's because there's so much competition etc but yeah anyways not the point. The point is that them getting physically hurt is highly unlikely because a) the members wouldn't do anything rash or out of hand or rude enough to get slapped or whatever. b) That would mean assault. It's a crime. Do you know how serious that is? Guys, SM's staff are humans too, not monsters. Not antagonists of some novel. They have a job which means they have responsibilities. Be reasonable. If you guys insist on them being evil, think about it like this: they need EXO to earn money. Would hurting them physically do any good? c) EXO are humans too. You do realize like 98% of what you see on TV/computer of them are scripted, right? if you didn't know that, you gotta wake up. Do you honestly think they came up with the EXO Showtime entrance greeting thing on their own? No. It was scripted. "BaekYeol" was also scripted. For all we know, they might hate each other (I'm being extreme, I'm sure this isn't true LOL) Anyways, if you want further explanation on Korea's culture, education, or how everything is scripted, just comment or PM me. I'll articulate/explain/clear things up for you happily (no sarcasm, actually).

-SM staff confiscated EXO members' phones to unfollow Kris on IG, etc. Yes, the EXO members' existing accounts are no longer following Kris. It does seem like a woman has confiscated their phones (picture proof). That was an old picture! LOL SORRY. But note that it's normal for idols to have their phones taken away/confiscated in their rookie years or when there's a scandal pertaining to their group. Also, it would be wrong to assume that the woman (or anyone else) purposely unfollowed Kris on IG to make it look like Kris' fault against EXO's will because there is no evidence. We don't know, okay? Don't make dramatic stories about how the members are trying to escape frantically and are desperately trying to find a way to reach us to help Kris etc etc etc like stop. Please.

-Shouting heard in SM 3rd floor - Luhan protesting Kris' abandonment? guys this is a famous entertainment building. There will be shouting/disputes/etc. There are bound to be disagreements between workers, artists, managers, etc. How can you ever confirm that it was Luhan shouting about Kris? "Leave me alone" was the phrase that someone had yelled out, but you really don't know who it was and what it was about. It , but we don't. How do you know, maybe a fangirl janitor wanted an autograph from a really grumpy artist.

-Tao's IG and Twitter updates? these actually happened. As long as you read a screenshot with his actual, confirmed, real usernames, or saw it yourself on his IG/Twitter. He did talk about betrayal and stuff but yeah again was it really him? Does Tao know the real story? Is he faking for attention? Is he genuinely hurt? Is he getting deceived by someone? Again, n o   o n e   k n o w s.

-Kris and his heart problem. this is so fake omfg i can't even - pls. -.- no ok LOL. However, it is true Kai has a hip injury and was sighted at the hospital.. but doubt it was from SM's beating or anything kks LOL. but yeah, Kris is totally fine physically. he has no problems in his anatomy so far, and let's hope it stays that way!

WE ARE NOT KRIS. Maybe we will never know the truth. Maybe no one will. But as fans, I think it's best to just stay calm. Don't trend hastags like "#webelieveinyoukris" because what if he's really leaving because he wants to? What if that belief in him that he will stay from his fans make him feel guilty? Would you rather have a free, happy Yifan doing what he wants, or a stressed-out Kris on stage, forcing smiles, drilling unwanted dance moves and meaningless lyrics into his head? He's a human too. He's young. He is inexperienced. He has a future. He's not a bird in a cage, trapped to entertain you. People make mistakes, and perhaps choosing the idol path was his. Or maybe this whole thing is just a huge misunderstanding. Who knows? Definitely not us. Just support EXO silently. Rewatch Overdose or sth. Keep quiet, cancel the rumors, and just wait. That's what we do best, right? Just wait, and support EXO12 or EXO11, whatever it becomes.

I know some of you are going to call me blunt or cold etc., but this is one perspective. What's yours? What's Kris'? Everyone is different and are entitled to their own opinion. "Freedom of speech" - ever heard of that? As far as I or you know, this matter may just be SM pulling their strings to destroy Kris' images for whatever reason. It may be Kris acting dramatically for attention, to gain money, to ruin SM for whatever reason. Or - wow, this seems impossible - he just got tired of being famous? Because everyone would love to be famous, right? (please tell me you sense my internet sarcasm here i'm being sarcastic. actually. really. like, a lot.)

kris stuff. this story will continue on with Kris as if this whole thing didn't happen. if you don't like it, that's fine, but he'll still be present. sorry if he's your bias, you must be having a hard time (along with non kris-biases too, but you know. it's their bias). support EXO as a whole, remember that idol life is hard, respect their decisions, SM staff members are humans not villains in a movie or sth, they're not foils. Stay strong! Keep an eye out for an update ~

*Someone mentioned that Kris' real name is not Wu Yifan. That was the name (우이판) typed up on the lawsuit so unless he faked his name in the lawsuit, I'm pretty sure Wu Yifan is his name, not Li Jiaheng. That someone claimed that Li Jiaheng is Kris' real name because Wikipedia has it written, but recognize that as long as you have an account, you can modify information on any page you want. In other words, it can be some troll making things up. And let me remind you that that fact was not on the Wikipedia article of him previuosly. PLEASE DO NOT SPREAD SUSPICION OF HIS NAME. THIS IS PATHETIC AND RIDICULOUS. Do not give him more problems (identity crisis). Honestly. ._.
