personality: I find it hard to describe my own personality because there are so many different ways to describe someone. One of the things people often say they notice about me, is that I'm very honest and a bit of dork. I will not try to deny that because I know I can be rather careless when it comes to my words of choice. There have been several misunderstandings due to my habit of having a terrible timing when it comes to speech, and I have lost a friend or two as a result of that. I am not someone to hide behind a mask or image, so I'm very open about myself. If something is funny, I will laugh until my stomach hurts. If I'm sad or feel sick, my face will show it like permanent black marker written across my forehead. I mean well in what I do, but my version of a good deed don't always match that of others.
I try to be someone who others can go to for support and advice. I like helping others and see myself as empathetic, if not compassionate, and I can be very forgiving of those who disappoint me or betray my trust (which can be hard to earn back if the damage is great enough). I tend to give others, including my own family, the cold shoulder if I'm angry or upset with them, and that is probably very childish of me, I'll admit that. I like to receive complements on my style. I have an interest in clothes and hair, but it is more of a hobby than a passion. While I am generally feminine on the outside, I can also be perceived as a tomboy due to my, as already mentioned, honest side and love for sports. I see myself as highly independent and self-sufficient. As someone who has lived in more than one country in the last decade, I learnt to stand up on my own and do whatever necessary in order to take care of myself and others. Because I have driven people away, I try to protect the ones I have with all my might, earning myself the nickname "Mini Mother."
background: I grew up in Mokpo City, which is located in South Jeolla. My parents divorced when I was seven. I lived a while with my father in Sydney, Australia, before I returned to live with my mother and sister in South Korea. My sister is Sebyul, and she is my junior by three years and five-something months. I went to an all girls' middle school, where I started to play basketball with a couple of friends after school. My neighbor also took karate lessons, so he introduced me to the classes there. It was a fun and memorable part of my past. When I entered high school, I became more focused on my future. I wanted to do something realistic and advanced, so I did a little research. My uncle was an engineer and inspired me to become an architect. (A different occupation, but I did say 'inspire', didn't I?) I moved to Gimje, North Jeolla, with a friend once we both graduated and got us an apartment there.

daily life: Waking up at FIVE-thirty AM, I wake up and make my bed. I eat dinner in my tiny kitchen before I shower and get dressed in the morning. At Seven, I take the garbage out and leave home in order to get my day on. If I have time, I like taking the scenic route, but I sometimes take the bus. I have classes until three or three-thirty, which is when I head home to study. I wash the dishes and cook dinner for my roommates. If it's Monday, Tuesday or Thursday, I head over or am visited by students whom I hope with homework and various subjects like math, science and hangul. Normally finished by ten-ish, I head to bed and sleep until tomorrow.
home tour: Seeing my house right now, it would feel a little empty. My friend and I recently moved into a new apartment with a second roommate, which results in a move cluttered with boxes and empty walls. My room is pretty much finished aside from pictures and a proper wallpaper, but it's neat and decorated with beauty products, awards and school books all over the bed.
ability to do chores: Cook, clean, babysit, you name it! I learnt to cook while I lived in Australia and was taught to take care of my juniors as the first-born in my family.
spending money: I generally put up a budget each month with the necessities, but I always make sure to have a little something to spend on myself. I can go berserk at times, but I generally have good control of my personal spendings. I do use a bit money on products, though.
children?: LOve 'em all! I would love to get married by the age of 30-31 and have at least two children!
taste in music: I really like Western music. Beyonce, Mariah Carey, One Direction, A-Ha... My favorite song is actually Blackbird by the Beatles! Surprise, huh?
relationship history: I've been in a few relationships after I began in university, but there was only one who truly made an impression on me, but we broke it off because we felt more like friends than boyfriend/girlfriend.
ideal type: My ideal man is something calm and reassured. I want someone who likes me for who I am and will put up with my general "insanity." He is kind and gentle, but a bit of a bad boy. I like older men, so I would like someone a little more mature than I am myself. I want someone to spoil me, but who will also let me spoil him. His work isn't too important, but I would love to have someone with a good job... Sense of humor and a kind smile are very important! (Haha!)
