» PERSONALITY

Good Things-  Somi is a considered the mother of the group. She can easily control the other members, and is there for them whenever they need them. Somi listens to other people's problems and helps them fix it.She is very responsible, and always takes authority over her actions. She also cooks well. Somi is very loyal, and can cheer someone up in an hour if they need to be cheered up. She is willing to take risks if it somehow benefits others. 

Flaws- Somi is clueless if being an idol is the right choice for her. She is also very cold when you meet her for the first time. Somi is a huge perfectionist because of her parents. Everything has to be organized in her life in some way. She also gets ticked off easily, but Somi hides her feelings. So, don't mess with her too much or you'll get a  harsh punishment, ranging from taking away electronics and punching them in the stomach.

Onstage- Onstage, Somi is quite bubbly. She's quite energetic, and is ready to do anything. The aegyo levels are very overwheming. You can see how hard she tries to dance perfectly, and sometimes she sneaks some fanservice in her dancing. Although she isn't as good as singing, she does try her best to hit her notes correctly. Somi talks a lot onstage as well. Somi gets pretty embarassed when she does something wrong. You can tell that she's embarrassed when her face starts to get red. Somi also spaces out at random times, at it takes her a while to get back to earth.

Offstage-Somi is the total opposite when she's offstage. She is very cold and quiet. She tends to force the members to do something. And when they do that something, it has to be perfect. If it isn't, she'll continue to force you to do it when until she is satisfied. If you try to avoid it, she will give you a punishment no matter how hard you whine or tattletale. 

» BACKGROUND

 

Somi was born September 14, 1999 in Hokkiado, Japan, from a Japanese mother and a Korean father. She didn't have a lot of friends, because she lived in the rural parts of Hokkaido, and there wasn't a lot of kids there. Instead, she watched a lot of anime and read a lot of manga, while made her an otaku for the rest of her life. She lived in Hokkaido until she was 5, because her father was offered a job to be the head chef in a restaraunt in Seoul, South Korea. So, they moved to Seoul.

In South Korea, Somi met a boy named Chansung. He taught her how to dance to K-pop. Dancing became her new hobby. She also learned to play the clarinet. Somi received average grades in school, but her parents wanted her to be at the top of her class. She was constantly yelled at, and couldn't hang out with her friends. This caused her to become a perfectionist. When Somi was 12, she was scouted for SM Entertainment. She auditioned and got in. Her parents were not supportive of her decision. Somi just ignored their advice and continued the life to K-pop. Suddenly, after one year from training at SM, she was suddenly dropped.

Somi was devastated when she was dropped. She had no idea what to do if she couldn't dance. Her grades dropped, and for three weeks, she did not come out of her room. Suddenly, one of her dad's friends came to visit. He was a scout for CUBE Entertainment. He asked Somi to dance, and he told her to go audition for CUBE. So, she did, and she got accepted. She became happy again. Somi was amazing at dancing, everyone called her the Dancing Queen. She would help out the instructors teach the other trainees how to dance.

» PERSONALITY

 

Kevin is known as the "Smiling Angel" of U-Kiss. Offstang he's very bubbly, happy, and energetic.  If you were his girl, he would do anything just to make him happy. He would do aegyo to make you smile when you are sad. His witty jokes will give you non-stop laughter for a couple of minutes. The overwhelming supply of energy he has in his body pass onto you and you will be able to survive a whole day with him. He is very protective, and will fight with anyone who tries to mess with her girl.When performing, the aegyo goes down and the charismatic levels go up. He takes performing very seriously and you can feel his emotions when singing. He sometimes does fanservice. 

Be careful when's he's mad. He's very emotional ans sensitive, so it's easy for him to get mad at you. When's he's angry, you should have a long break time, because he's going to argue with you for a long time. He also expects you to be the one who says sorry. Kevin doesn't like it when a person tries to hide something from him. He thinks -that he cannot be trusted if that happens.

» INTERACTIONS

When Kiseop first introduced s to Somi, Kevin immediately caught Somi's attention and Kevin fell in love with Somi. She found Kevin very feminine, which amused Somi, because she had never seen a man like that before in her lifetime. She talked to the other members more than she talked to Kevin, so they were sort of like strangers. It wasn't until Somi had to help a crossdressing Kevin from his fans that the two started to talk more. Kevin would ask Kiseop about her and Somi would ask Kiseop about Kevin too. This angered Kiseop, because he developed feelings for Somi has well. Since Kiseop was a nice friend, he gave up on her and decided to help the two be together.

When Kevin and Somi are together, they are very awkward. It's hard for them to talk, because they are both shy about their feelings for each other. To get attention, Somi would purposely try to hurt him (i.e. pinching, light punch, etc.). To recieve Somi's attention, he would do a lot of aegyo.
