CHARACTER.
background. Ryu Aecha was born June 11, 1996 in San Francisco, California. Her dad is the owner of a global chain of restaurants, and her mom helps run one of the restaurants. She also has a younger sister named Eunjung. Aecha was born in a rich family so, she would get anything she wanted. Aecha even went to a private school! As a young child, Aecha always craved attention. Her parents weren't usually home when she came back from school, so it made Aecha feel unloved. To get some love, Aecha tried her best to make anyone she knew happy. From just saying hi, or to giving them something, Aecha made everyone happy. She recieved a large group of friends because of her actions. All of her friends were loyal to them. Especially her best friend, Kevin. Kevin made Aecha's live happier. Kevin always stuck with Aecha, no matter what happened in her life. He also showed Aecha love when she was around. The two made a vow to never abandon each other. Aecha felt life was perfect. But,in 6th grade, Kevin had to leave Aecha and SF for personal reasons. Aecha was sad that Kevin left. Kevin was the only person who showed her love the most. Having him taken away from her, Aecha came to school very gloomy. Her other friends would hangout with her, like her other best friend Jessica, but Aecha felt like that their love didn't compare to his. She started to feel scared that her friends would abandon her like Kevin did. Her parents were very sad about seeing Aecha like this. So, Aecha's father decided to move the family to South Korea, his home country, so Aecha could find a person who could give her love like Kevin did. So, in 7th grade, Aecha's family moved to South Korea.

They decided to put Aecha in public school, because private school rates in Korea was very expensive, even though they were rich. Inside, Aecha thought that she would never find a person that would love her like Kevin did. So, Aecha didn't really interact with the other students. She only talked when she was asked to by adults. Aecha was known as the wallflower of the school because of that. But, a boy named Sungjong would help comfort her when she was sad. Aecha was really glad that he would do that for her. Aecha started to develop feelings for him, but since they only hungout during those times, she just considered Sungjong's comfortings as acts of kindness. The rest of the year, Aecha was alone, with the feeling about Sungjong lingering in her. But in 8th grade, two boy named Dongwoo and Yixing came into her life. They noticed Aecha, and wondered why she was acting so introverted. Everytime that the two saw Aecha, she was alone. So, they decided to try to make Aecha more social. When they first came up, Aecha did not say anything. She was scared that she would become friends with Dongwoo and Yixing, and then the to would suddenly leave her. But, they continued to try talking to her. Aecha got very annoyed, so she actually screamed at both of their faces to back off and to not talk to her. They didn't listen. Aecha ended up giving in with Dongwoo and Yixing. When Dongwoo told her about Yixing and his' plan, she was very reluctant about it. But, with lots of coercing, Aecha agreed. With the two's help, Aecha slowly started to get out of the small box that contained her. By junior year, she became the Aecha she was when she was younger. Aecha felt loved when Dongwoo and Yixing did that for her, but not the love she felt when she was with Kevin.

traits. Spoiled, Loyal, Attention Seeking, Perfectionistic, Caring, Whiny, Considerate
personality.
"I want that. Buy it for me." - She's spoiled. Born into a rich family, Aecha usually got whatever she wanted. A pony? Yep. How about all the rare mangas of the Sailor Moon series? Of course. She would only use the things that she would get a couple of times too. Aecha got very used to getting whatever she wanted. So, whenever someone tells her no, she whines. A lot.

"I've got your back, no matter what." - She's loyal. Aecha doesn't want anyone to feel how she felt when she lived in SF. To make sure that nobody feels like that, Aecha is loyal to all of her friends. She never spreads rumors, acts supportive of most decisions, tells the honest truth, and is with them when they need it. When Aecha sees people who have broken their loyalty to a person, she talks to them about the importance of loyalty.

"Hey, look at me! I can do that too!" - She's an attention seeker. Aecha got used to the attention she got in San Francisco. It made her feel that she meant something to some people. When others take the spotlight from her friends, Aecha tries to get at least one person to talk to her. If no one will, she'll do something nice or funny to recieve attention. If they would still not give their attention to her, Aecha just leaves and goes somewhere quiet to cry.

"It still needs some work." - She's a perfectionist. When she would hangout with her "friends" in San Francisco, Aecha felt like her life was complete. When they abandoned her, she felt that everything was messed up. So, she tried to make everything perfect again. This perfectionism then started to influence other parts of her life, like grades and badminton skills. If something is not perfect, Aecha will not stop fixing it until she is satisfied.

"Are you okay?" - She's caring. Aecha worries a lot about the well being for her friends. She asks her friends if they are okay a lot. If they are, she feels happy. If they are not, Aecha lets them talk about what's wrong and helps comfort them. Aecha might even go to the source of their sadness and "talk" some sense into them. (More like beat them up and tell them to say sorry.)

"I want it though! Please buy it!" - She's whiny. Aecha hates it when she cannot get what she wants. So, to get what she wants, she whines. Aecha will complain until she finally gets the item she wants. She also whines for fun. Aecha likes to see other people's reaction to her whining, so randomly she will start complain about the smallest thing. Since her friends know her so well though, they never create a reaction.

"Here, let me help you with that." - She's considerate. You don't know what a person has to live through, Aecha says. So, act nice to others unless they act mean to you. So, Aecha does nice things to others, like opening the door for others, volunteering, and sharing food. Only when she is very stressed or another emotion is overwhelming her, she drops this. And becomes very crank.

love interest. Lee Sungjong
back up love interest. Zhang Yixing (Lay)
personality. At first glance, Sungjong looks very girly. Heck, he can even pull off dressing as a girl. But, don't say that right in front of his face. Sungjong will get md at you. He loves do do aegyo. Lots of girls melt just by a little buing buing. He's pretty optimistic. And he likes it when  Sungjong tries his best to make his friends happy. One way he does this is by giving the sad person lemon candy. Sungjong's energy levels are huge as well. It's like he never becomes tired. And when you hangout with him, that energy comes to you and fills you up to survive a day wih him. Sungjong's pretty weak hearted. He gets offended by the smallest of insults. Sungjong is pretty stubborn. He thinks that what he says is right, and that's then end of it. When people differ with his opinion, Sungjong and the person will get into an arguement. He will only stop if someone shows evidence to either of the claims.

In the inside though, he is very manly. Sungjong, to his friends, is a person that everyone can rely on. Sungjong is very protective to others. Scared of others feeling sad, he has everyone's back. He's mature for his age. What others think is funny, 70% of the time Sungjong won't find it funny. And when people talk about that, he won't snicker or do something that is considered unpleasant. Responsiblility comes to Sungjong a lot. Whenever there are group projects at school, Sungjong will lead the team. Sungjong tends to hide his emotions, but when alone in his room, he'll let everything out to his teddy bear.
history. I can't describe it well in 3rd person, so I decided to explain it in both Aecha's and Sungjong's POV.

Sungjong's POV: Aecha? Yeah, I know her. Best friends with Dongwoo and Yixing. Came to my middle school in 7th grade. Also, my crush. Aecha makes me feel that I have to protect her from something. Like, inside there's something that scares her, but no one knows about it and she suffers it by herself. I just cannot stand to see Aecha looking sad. With all of that and her beauty and intelligence, that's why I fell in love with her.  Or the feeling could be something else, like out of kindness. I don't really know how love is and feels like so... yeah. Very quiet for her first year. Extremely beautiful, but no one would talk to her during that first year. People would even call her the wallflower of our school. I would look at her from a distance, making sure that she was okay. She was okay most of them time. The times she wasn't, I would try my best to cheer her up. Now, she seems okay. But, I feel like that she still needs to be protected. That's why, I tend to follow her around campus. Or, if I'm in class, I watch her. I really want to talk to her, but I'm scared that I might do something that will cause her to hate me. Or, I might accidentaly reveal my feelings to her. If she doesn't have feelings for me, and I reveal it, our relationship will be very awkward, especially when I comfort her. So, I avoid her advances in conversation.

Aecha's POVSungjong? I know him. He knows me. He's the one who looks like a girl, right? We went to the same middle school. When I felt sad, he was always there for me, even though we didn't know much for each other. I was very surprised about that, because I was known as the wallflower during 7th grade. I liked him because of that. I still sort of like him now. I'm not sure. Now, we share some of the same classes. He occationally stares at me during class. It's very weird. I don't know why he does it. Maybe he has a crush on me? If he does, I'm surprised I've seen him hang out with Dongwoo and Yixing before. The two say that he's a cool guy. Very girly on the outside, but manly on the inside. We don't really talk though. It's not like I hate him or something like that, but it's like he doesn't want to hangout with me. When I try to do my advances, he doesn't reply to me.

PLOTLINE.
plotline. Don't Go.
expansion. Love, to Aecha is one of the most important things you need in life. Without love, you will feel sad and lonely, which will led to something bad to happen. With love, you feel like you will exist and that someone cares for you. Aecha's parents are very busy, with running a huge business. Because of that, Aecha was raised by maids and a butler. She felt that she wasn't really loved by others. Only when Kevin would hangout with her, Aecha felt loved. She felt that she mattered to others. When he left her, she was really sad. Aecha felt like everyone was going to leave her. So, when they moved to South Korea, Aecha tried her best to not be noticed. To not be backstabbed by others. With Dongwoo and Yixing, they made her feel somewhat loved. It wasn't the love like Kevin gave her, but just enough to her that they truly cared about her. By just helping her with becoming more social, Aecha felt that they cared for her wellbeing. In conclusion, being loved shows Aecha that people care for you and you don't need to feel alone, because the people who truly love you will be there for you forever. They won't forget you and make sure your wellbeing is okay.

Sungjong, to Aecha, is someone who she wants to be close with, but cannot. She was happy when he would comfort her when she was sad. Sungjong made her feel loved again. Aecha developed a crush on him because Sungjong did that for her. Aecha wanted to confess to Sungjong, but there were somethings that made her not do it. Sungjong and Aecha never interacted with each other except with comforting her, so she assumed he did that out of kindness. Also, since she was the wallflower of the school, if they were dating, Sungjong would be considered an outcast too. Aecha was scared that Sungjong would hate her for that, so she didn't confess her feelings. But, her crush on Sungjong lingered for the rest of the year. When Dongwoo and Yixing came into her life, Aecha's crush on him slowly disappered. Becoming more social made Aecha more happy, so she didn't need Sungjong to come and comfort her. But, when her life felt down, Sungjong still was the one who comforted her. Aecha started to think that he actually did have a crush on her, so she tried to talk to him. When he would turn down her advances, Aecha started to think he definietly did that for kindness. So, she starts to let go of his feelings for him.

In Aecha's eyes, Sungjong has to tell his feelings quickly, or else Aecha will fully forget her feelings for Sungjong. Sungjong will be that person that comforted Aecha, but never loved her. The boy whom she wasted her time crushing on him. Her first love who didn't love her back. The person whom she made advances to, but didn't care for them. And if Sungjong tells his love for her too late, Aecha might be with another person by that time. Aecha will leave him heart broken, just like how Sungjong left her heartbroken. And if they meet in the future, Aecha will treat him like he treated her; she will not talk to him what so ever.

When Sungjong realizes that he's going to lose her soon, he's going to do whatever he can to gain the courage to ask her, instead of just waiting for her to say it to him. That's why he has never talked to her outside of comforting her, he's too scared that Aecha somehow finds out about his crush on her and reject him. To get the courage, Sungjong is going to do things that need courage, like diving into a body of water 75 feet above the ground. Some things like that. He'll also get advice from his friends to on how to ask a person out. When he finally thinks he has the courage to start his plan. Most likely, he'll try to get closer to her so she feels like he likes her and continues his crush. Also, while becoming friends, he'll start to ask more about her and see what she likes and hates. When they get really close, he'll start dropping hints about his crush on Aecha. When the time is right, he'll finally ask her out.

INTERVIEW.

what kind of student are you? I'm a A+ student. Perfection is life in my world, so anything less than 100%, I have to do better.
are you involved in any extracurricular activities? any school clubs? any school organization or sports?etc. I tend to pick a small amount of clubs because if I pick a lot of them, I won't be perfect at them. These are the classes and clubs that I've joined: Badminton Team on Monday @ 4, Cooking Club on Tuesday @ 3:30, Clarinet Practice on Friday @ 6. In my spare time, I either learn K-pop dances, make origami or study.
what are your plans for the future? Well, I want to be a pharmacist when I grow up. I like the health indrustry, because you are making a big difference in other people's life. But being a doctor is too hard. That's why I chose to be a pharmacist. You still make a difference in people's life, but in a simpler way. And get married to my ideal type and raise three kids.
what are your priorities? Perfection in life comes first to me. I love perfection. That's how I can tell that everything is okay with my life. In order, the places where I care about perfection the most is Grades, School, Friends, Activities, Health, Popularity, Boyfriend.
