Varies, from sporty to cute, vintage to edgy, casual to elegant, Younghee never stays on the same style for too long. She's not the type of girl who dresses according to trends. She follows the trend but she'll always pick the clothes she prefers at the moment and makes fashion out of it. Even so, she often use the street style fashion. Oh yeah, and she has a thing for studs, ankle boots, oversized or knitted sweaters and printed skirts.
She loves clothes that are unique, the ones that'll catch people's eyes in a good way, the ones that uses complex pattern or prints. She doesn't really like wearing clothes that's too revealing, like clothes that'll show your bra or too much cleavage. Oh, and Younghee is not a worshipper of branded clothes, she's comfortable with any brands or even clothes without brands, as long as it's comfortable and fashionable. Playful and a Goofball
Younghee is a playful girl, the kind of person that'll able to coax your true self out even though you're as awkward as a turtle. She loves to crack jokes and makes a fool of herself like doing weird dances or imitating animal's sound. Oh, and she's a walking pick-up line dictionary, the hilarious edition. Don't be surprised if suddenly she comes up to you and says, "Girl, are you fart? 'Cause you just blew me away." Yeah, she's the girl that'll make you feel embarassed when you two are walking on the mall because she's doing weird dances or making funny noises or laughing just a little to hard.

Emotional
They say girls act according to her feelings, well that quote really fits well with Younghee. She's very emotional, easily angered and easily gets sad. Once something is bugging her mind, she can never forget about it. Younghee will think about it over and over again, wallowing in self pity or wondering why it happened. Once she gets into that state, everything falls apart. Like if somebody bashes her, Younghee will only wallow in self pity and do nothing to prove that person wrong. She's not an expert multitasker, so she can't whine about her problems while handling her career perfectly at the same time. Her emotions affects her act. If she's sad, you can see it by how gloom and quiet she becomes, or how often she sighs. When she's angry, you'll see from how cruel her words is and how everything seems to be pissing her off. She does stupid things when she's emotional, like accidentally lashing out on somebody or abandoning her members or practise time when she's sad. Younghee does a lot and say a lot of stupid things when she's emotional.

Hard Working
Despite her being emotional, Younghee is a very hard working person. She hates it when people doesn't notice her hard work or acknowledge her skill. She works hard because she's afraid that people will hate on her if she fails. She's afraid that she'll be stamped as "The useless and talentless one in the group." so it's normal to see her practising her dance move even when it's past 1 AM in the morning, or how she constantly playing the same song over and over again on her phone to remember the lyrics, or how she's always the last to get out of the dance practise room. It's normal, but seeing her reasons, her reasons to be hard working, it's kind of pitiful. One should work for herself, not for the pleasure of other people.

Overly-Competitive
Competitiveness is good, but Younghee takes it to a whole new level. The girl is a perfectionist who puts 100% to her work, yes it's good. But when in groups, cases like Younghee scolds a member just because a simple vocal mistakes can easily happens. She wants everything to be perfect while sometimes, things just can't be perfect. She may be your friend and you may be her best friend, but she'll never forget the fact that you are another person she has yet to beat.

Kind Hearted
Oh yes, despite her flaws, Younghee is a very generous and kind girl. She helps other without thinking twice and is always the first to realize when you're in a bad mood. She tries to always be there when you need her, even when it's 2 AM in the morning and she's dead tired but you're still sobbing about the guy who rejected you, she'll try to be awake just for your sake. She's very polite towards other staffs and her seniors. She'd greet them when they walks past her and ask them how was their day and wishes them luck. And not just to the SM staffs, but also other trainees and strangers. Don't be surprised if you meet her on the street and you just have no idea who she is but she still smiles at you anyway, that's just her. Yeah, sweet, right? Her politeness however, will disappear once she gets to emotional.

Jealous
Yeah, she's very jealous of those who are better than her. As much as she hates it, Younghee hates to see people who are better than her, especially in things that are her forte, such as dance. She'll always try to find that person's flaw, even though she knows it's wrong and stupid, but the girl just couldn't help it.

{ background }

(1994) Moon Younghee was born under the name Inoue Yuki, in Naha, Japan on the 19th of December 1994. That night, the probably worst snow storm in Japanese history was raging, hence why her parents named her Yuki. Her father, Inoue Kenzo was a pianist while her mother, Do Sunji, was a fashion designer. Kenzo taught her how to play the piano and Sunji taught her how to play the violin. After that, Younghee felt an unbreakable attraction towards music and ever since then, violin and piano has been her companion.

(2001) Her biological father passed away. A fire broke out in his office and he didn't manage to get away. His death left deep impact on her and even though Younghee and her remaining family managed to move on, she still couldn't forget the memory of her father and her heart still churned at the memories of him.

(2003) Younghee's mother, Sunji, met another Korean in Japan. His name was Moon Seungho, he's a songwriter, his wife passed away two years ago and he had a son named Moon Ahrang. Younghee was perfectly fine with her mother seeing Seungho a lot and she could never be happier when her mom confided that she fell in love with Seungho because even though all of them loved Kenzo, they need to move on.

(2006) Do Sunji married Moon Seungho and Younghee had someone to be called 'Dad'. It's not like she forgot about Kenzo. Kenzo was irreplaceable but there's nothing wrong in accepting Seungho as her father, right? Besides, Seungho found another talent in her that Younghee thought she didn't have, and that was singing. As a musician and a caring dude, Seungho gave her the proper vocal training and encouraged her to join vocal competitions. Well, now Younghee is proud to say that Seungho was the reason behind her success and behind the good amount of trophies in her room. It got even better when her mom announced that she's pregnant!

(2008) Her family moved to Korea and previously Inoue Yuki got a Korean name, which is Moon Younghee. It took her a while to adjust to the Korean's complex culture and lifestyle. It took her years to master the language and it took her even more longer to adjust to her new name. But things were good and Seungho and Ahrang were always there to help her. In the same year in autumn, Moon Geumri was born.

(2010) Seungho, who was working as a musician in SM Entertainment that time, asked her opinion about auditioning in SM. Younghee was excited while her mother was mortified. What about school? What about the hectic schedules? Heck, does she even know how cruel the entertainment world is? More heck, will she even got the chance to be debuted? But Seungho had complete faith in Younghee and besides, Ahrang was also a trainee in SM that time. So after days of talking it throuth with Sunji and after promising that "I'll eat properly, I'll get enough sleep, I'll practise and work hard but not overworked myself, I'll also endure the hates I'll obviously going to get if I am get to be debuted later.", her mother finally agreed.

And in the end, Younghee auditioned and was accepted into SM Entertainment.

Despite their lack of blood relation, Younghee and Seungho shares a deep relationship. Seungho manages to bring back the father figure that had dissappeared from her life. He's a very lively and funny father, who's always able to set up the mood in the house and Seungho is always very supportive of his children, including her. He's very patient when he was training Younghee how to sing. He's very caring and though she hates to admit, Seungho's jokes can be so corny sometimes, and it appears from time to time so she has to bear with it. Nevertheless, like a normal father, Seungho is very protective of her and he's always the one who ushered home when Younghee spent to much time practising back in her trainee days.

Do Sunji / Mother / 45 / Fashion Designer /

Sunji is the type of mother who would fuss over the high electricity bills and when you don't do your homework, but those just underline how caring she is towards her family. Sunji is very emotional so sometimes, she and Younghee has their own share of fights. Sunji is also a hard worker, while Seungho tends to be lax towards his children, Sunji still sets high bars for them but that's just because she only wants the best for her children. She worries a lot about them, especially Younghee, since she has a soft heart. Sunji is patient and she's a very determined woman. She always calls Younghee at night to check how she's doing and to tell her not to overwork herself, eat properly and get a decent sleep.

Moon Ahrang / Step-Brother / 22 / Chef /

Ahrang is a funny guy. He's an older brother who loves to bully and but that's just because he loves her. Ahrang is the split image of Seungho. He's lively and carefree and a tad cocky, like a narcissist who loves himself. He's also a very dependable brother who's always there for her through her ups and downs. Younghee can tell him everything because Ahrang is very understanding. He's also protective, very protective and can be very annoying sometimes. He knows how soft her heart is and sometimes, it may appears like he doubts her because he's always worrying if Younghee is able to ignore all the hates she would definitely get when she becomes an idol. It's annoying sometimes but Younghee knows it's because he loves her. Ahrang is also very curious about her love live, he even threatened her by saying, "If a guy ever comes to our house to ask you out, I'll chase him out with my frying pan."

Geumri is the type of younger sister who always wants to be the same like her older sister, Younghee. Geumri loves to follow what Younghee is doing and she even set her goal to be an idol, just like Younghee. Like the youngest children in every family, Geumri is a bit spoiled and demanding, but that's okay because she's just a little girl. Geumri is also curious about everything and very adventurous for girls her age. Really, she will never let a day pass without making her family worried about her. She's very talkative, chirping like a bird and very energitic.

They met when they were still trainees at SM. It was break time, that day and Younghee was going to get some chips from one of the vending machine in SM's cafetaria. Like usual, she inserted her money and picked the chips she desired for and the chip would fell to the hole and she'd be able to enjoy it.

Only, her chips didn't fall into the hole.

Instead, the chips was lying horizontaly, in a way that made it nearly impossible to get her chips. Frustrated, Younghee insterted another money and picks another chips. Well, she hoped that if another chips fell on top of her chips, the pressure would make her chips fell into the hole and she'd be able to get it. Turned out, the second chips fell on top of her chips but there wasn't enough pressure. So there were two chips lying lifelessly at the bottom of the vending machine. The other trainee realized her situation, some were laughing because of the hilarious position of the chips and some were trying to help her. One of the trainees that was helping her was him, Kim Jongdae.

Basically, Jongdae and his friends were banging the vending machine and after three minutes of useless kicking, punching and shaking, Younghee said that it's alright, she'd settle down with just kimbap or other food but thanks for helping anyway. Jongdae didn't look too pleased, maybe he thought getting the chips out of the vending machine was more of a challenge. So when Younghee turned her back from him, he gave the machine one last push. Younghee turned around at the horrible sound of body hitting a metalic surface and then... there was Jongdae, wincing a little because of the pain but in his hands was her bag of chips. "I got it!" he said happily before giving it to her.

After that, he introduced himself and the two became friends ever since. The chips became somewhat a symbol of their friendship, funny, but really, that Lays chips will always be a reminder of their fateful encounter.

Younghee, however, won't fake her personality. Like I've said, she's very emotional and masking her emotion is one thing she's never good at. The picture is on netizenbuzz and allkpop and both of Younghee and Jongdae are very surprised, they always minimalize their public interactions and even if they do, the two will have a very heavy disguise and they'll only go to private places. Well, it seems that they slack off a little that a fan managed to take a picture of them! The news goes viral and a lot of netizen starts to dig more about them and they are able to find bits of clues that the two seems to forgot and they manage to connect them together. The proofs are solid, but neither of them nor SM make any statement. Younghee and Jongdae are very worried, she gets a lot of death threat and bashing. Some fans and her antifans even do a lot of bad stuffs to her. She tries to hide it away from Jongdae but he finds out and he's so worried and angry at Younghee for not telling him. Does she think he's not worried about her? Does she think he can't do anything to protect her? He then goes to A-Bliss' dorm to talk it out with Younghee. They have a long talk and Younghee cries a lot because she can't handle the pressure, but in the end, Jongdae manages to soothe her and promise her they will find a way, together. He promise he'll make things right.
