So I get this weird call at home and answer because there's no one else here. Then when I pick up, the guy is all...

"Hello, I work for Microsoft and we've gotten many mentions that you have malicious files on your computer. If you do not let me help you, your computer will crash."

Me: "What? How would you know if I have malicious files?"

Guy: "Well.... I work for microsoft (repeats same crap)"

Me: (I was hesitating like crazy) "Okay... WHat would I need to do then."

Guy: "OKay. Just type this 'ammyy.com" and click on the green box."

Me: (what the actual fudge like how would I know if this is legit)

So then, I go search on google what ammyy is and it's all this scam crap that steals your passwords and all! Oh my god. And the guy has the NERVE to keep calling me baby and I was like.

Me: "ExCUSE me? Why do you keep calling me baby?!"

Guy: "It is because you are acting like one." He says in his (what I caught to be an) indian accent...

Me: "I'm not acting like a baby. I'm actually asking valable questions to know more about things that I don't understand. So no. I don't I'm acting like a baby, baby."

Guy: "Okay, then hang up if you think this is a scam."

Me: "Kay."

and I hang up. 

OMFG GUYS. You don't know how scary it was to see that it was all but a freaking scam! (I admit, I was dumb to even doubt that it might be true... but nothing is 100% true so yeah.) But at least I didn't click on the effin green box. It would have stolen all of my passwords ;-;

If any of you get calls like these, just HANG UP! Do not even think about it twice. If the person at the other end of the phone starts with "Hello, I work for Microsoft and we've gotten many mentions..." Hang up. Please. It's for your own safety.
