Laid-back > can mean relaxed, calm, and easygoing. Some even refers to them as teddy bear for they seem like there's nothing that bothers them, don't get excited on small things like others would, or raise their voice - just like Nami. She just takes life as it comes along and goes on with the flow. She is a person who doesn't sweat the small stuff. In other words, she is calm and collected in the face of a crisis, and things that bother most people don't seem to affect her much. She has this ability to remain cool and calm in the face of all the tremendous pressure that she encounters, will encounter, or got encountered, but at the same time, she is confident and competent.
Kind-hearted > Nami is a very nice person who thinks of others first before herself. She will give anything she has to a person who needs it the most. An example of this is if you're hungry and she has food, she will share it to you or even give it all to you, depending on the situation.
Reliable > same as trustworthy. Nami is a reliable person/ friend that you can tell her your deepest and darkest secret and she wouldn't judge you or hold it against you and she will surely will not let a peep squeak about it to other people. She behaves well, works hard, and do the things you expect her to do.

Stubborn > Despite Nami's easygoing and kindhearted personality lies an obstinate character that no one can change her decision when she set her mind on something. Nami is rather stubborn when it comes to hearing other people's opinions and such. She hates it when someone's idea is better than hers and will keep her mind closed. She will argue with you with all her might, proving how hard-headed she is. She wants things go her way no matter what.
Straightforward > is both good and bad, right? It's good that she is not afraid to speak her mind and only speaks pure honesty. She gives honest opinions that hurts others sometimes, an example of a con of being straightforward. She somehow likes to say 'Truth hurts.' and shrug after saying her frank opinion.

STORY OF MY LIFE

History
Seo Nami was born in Jeju, South Korea with a Korean father and American mother. She moved to Dillon Beach, California with her grandma Mary when she was just 9 years old. Her parents never liked her for she was just an accident. Her parents, along with their high school friends went bar hopping after their high school graduation and there is where her mother got pregnant with her. She didn't mind that her parents doesn't like her but still thankful that her grandma acted as her own parent. She became a print ad model when she was in 6th grade. She was tall for her age back then. Though Nami is an unwanted child, a certain person made her feel loved aside from her grandma. It was Kim Kibum - another Korean-American model in the company she was working in. They became friends and eventually became boyfriend and girlfriend in 2007 when Nami was 17 years old and Kibum was 19. They were like the cutest couple everyone envies and they really love each other.

March 2010, grandma Mary died of old age. Nami was devastated and wouldn't go out of her room or even eat. Few months after that, Kibum finally convinced Nami to go out and December of the same year, the two agreed to spend Christmas with Kibum's family in Korea. Their first day tour in the mountains was going great until when Kibum left Nami for a second to go to the men's room. He came back with Nami talking to a guy. The guy was cocky and flirting with Nami even though she kept on telling him that she has a boyfriend already. Kibum got jealous and punched the guy before pulling Nami away from the place. He got mad and slapped her for the first time. Violence has always been Nami's fear and she suddenly got a trauma. She run off while angry Kibum chase her. Nami's foot got caught on a root of a tree and fell from the mountain straight through a deserted highway. Two days later, she woke up in a hospital bed with a man looking out for her and she can't remember anything. She has lots of bruises, stitches, and a broken arm. The man took her in and promised to help her with everything he can.

Future life
Nami remembered everything when she saw Kibum once again. It was by accident, though. She was on her usual weekly grocery shopping with the nephew of the owner of Chocolat E when they got separated due to the number of people shopping. The store's fire alarm rang and she immediately ran out hoping that the nephew was safe. The fire exit door was located near an alley and she saw a man slap a beautiful woman. When the man turned, she recognized his face and memories came flooding back to her. Every single memory she had. She was shock and frozen on the spot and when the nephew saw her, she fainted. She decided to continue the life she has been living for 3 years and tell the owner about her. Few months later, she decided to move out but still continue working in Chocolat E.

Ideal type
Nami has a thing for flower boys. He must be dorky, has a lot of aegyo, romantic, and knows how to have fun. A guy who is playful but knows when to be serious. The guy must be reliable and understanding. Being an unwanted child has a huge impact on Nami so she wants a guy who will love her for who she is and wouldn't just her because of her past.

Nami fell in love with the chocolate hater nephew. They live under one room and are frienemies. They are friends but enemies when the nephew's pranks gets on Nami's nerves. He is quite cocky and talkative for her liking. Nami even bought a pink duct tape that she always use to tape the nephew's mouth to shut him up and he will do the same to her.

Grandmother | Mary Jones | 72 | Grandma Mary is young at heart and very understanding. She thinks of others first before herself and acts like she's still on her younger years. | Nami is very close with her grandma for she treats her like her bestfriend, own mother, and adviser. Grandma Mary thought her a lot of things so she is the most important person to her,. Not her own mother.
