Funny
Like his younger sister, Ahrang is a very funny lad. He's even more of a prankster than his sister. If Younghee only teases other by words, Ahrang will tease his colleagues by words AND acts. Nevertheless, he's the kind of guy you should see when you're having a bad day and in need of an enlightenment. You'll either laugh because his jokes are very funny, or cry in frustration because his jokes are so corny. In short, he's the jokester one, the class clown.

Jealous
Similar to Younghee, he dislikes seeing other who are better than him. His jealousy leads to an overly competitive traits. He knows it's stupid but it's hard not to see your fellow trainees as another competitor you have yet to beat. He enjoys the feeling of winning and will do anything (legal) to win or achieve his goals. If he were to be put in groups, he'll be most likely pissing the other members off by scolding those who do mistakes at dancing, I mean, hey, not all people is as good as you in dancing, okay? Chill, dude. But that's just him and no matter how hard he tries to change this trait, he can't.

Carefree
Some dude starst to bash on him? Some trainee dislikes him because of his skill and how sometimes he's an annoying airhead? it doesn't affect him at all. He wonders why, but those kind of words never really have negative effects on him, it just push him to do better. He's always seem so upbeat, fresh and happy and that's because he doesn't put too much thought about what people say about him. His wisdom is, "There are numerous of dumb people in this world who judges people easily and the best respond you can give is not responding at all. It's useless to fight against dumb people, they'll always think they're right, even when they're wrong."

Dependable
Being the firstborn (and a male) really makes him a dependable guy. Ahrang is definitely the guy who'll let you cry on his shoulder. He's very responsible towards things that are handed to him and he treats his family with care. He's the guy you would run to when you're in a dire situation, or when you just simply need to borrow a penny. Ahrang is also the one who would protect his loved ones when they are being treated poorly by others. And he's also very polite to everyone, just like Younghee. He'll always try to show people that he respects them.

Cocky
Well, he's not really that arrogant. Ahrang knows he has the looks and talents and his great body is also a plus. He may not show it much but you can always know his cockiness from how he would praise himself sometimes like, "Yeah, right, I'm obviously better." and how eager he is when someone told him to list his charms. It's not that bad yet but still irritating. You can say that he's a little bit of a hypocrite because "he will try to show people that he respects them." while on the inside, it's possible that Kazu will probably think that he's better than them.

Determined
Achieving your dream isn't supposed to be easy. . Instead, Ahrang trains even more to prove his worth and to prove them wrong. He doesn't like looked down upon (Who the hell does?) and he'll show them his way. Anyway, Ahrang is not the type of person who'll back down easily, so he'll try and try again, like for example, even when he had already memorized the dance moves for a whole song and already good at it, Ahrang would practise it over and over again so he could be perfect. The hater's words never brush him off and he rarely gets down because of their bashings. He has goal and he'll do everything (legal) to achieve his goals.

Background :

(1993) Moon Ahrang was born in Siheung, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. His mother was a lawyer and his father was a musician. Life was good, her mother raised him well and his father gave him the proper vocal knowledge. He can play the guitar, piano and he can sing.

(2003) When he was 10, his mother passed away due to a sickness. Ahrang doesn't remember much about her death, probably because it was very saddening that he'd rather forget it than continues to remember it.His family moved on and so did he.

(2005) He moved to Japan when he was 12, his father was recruited by Sony Music Japan. His mother was good with languages and it didn't take him long before he managed to become fluent in Japanese, however he was never used to his Japanese name, Keigo, and he often forgot that in Japan, he's no longer Ahrang, but Keigo. A year later, his father met a Korean women and her name was Do Sunji, she had a daughter named Yuki, a year younger than him and her father had passed away. Sunji and Seungho, his father, instantly clicked and Ahrang loved to tease his father about Sunji.

(2007) Two years later, Seungho married Sunji and Ahrang finally had someone he can call 'Mom'. Yuki became his sister then.

(2008) When he was fifteen, his family moved back to Korea and Seungho got a job in SM Ent. it was spring, that time and Yuki got a korean name, which is Moon Younghee. In the same year in autumn, Moon Geumri was born.

(2009) Moon Ahrang was scouted by SM Entertainment. The agency probably had no idea that he was one of SM's employee's son but Ahrang was very excited. He ran home and told his parents. His father was very excited, though her mother was worried. Yet Ahrang managed to reassure his mother and later on, Sunji gave him the permission to audition for SM. In the end, he was auditioned, and accepted by SM Entertainment.

Style :

Well, Ahrang is not as fashionable as his sister. While Younghee tends to fuss a lot about clothes, he will picks the clothes he prefers and find something that matches with it, up to date or not. Even so, he still has an eye for fashion and a bit picky. He describes his style as the 'classy worker' style , revolving around sweaters, shirt, trousers, chinos and classy shoes. That, or he'd settle down with t-shirt and jeans. Aside from the classy worker, Ahrang also describes his style as 'manly' or 'macho', his favourite is denim. He doesn't really like skinny jeans and he often asks fashion tips to his sister. Oh, and he loves a good amount of bracelet on his wrists.

Personality :

Most people see her as the snob queen, the rude girl, the idol with attitude problem. But in truth, she is a good person who cares a lot about her members, her friends and especially her sister. It's not that she's rude, she just doesn't like being fake, she'd rather voice her own thoughts than saying lies. Krystal is shy, she doesn't know how to act around people she doesn't know really well which sometimes people misinterpret as her being arrogant and cocky. She's not a snob, she's actually nice and loves to encourage other SM trainees to do well, but nobody seems to realize it and after being called snob over and over again, she just gives up trying.

How they met :

It was a very hot summer, that day and all Ahrang wanted to do was just lay on the floor all day and play games. It was only two months after he came back to Korea after spending almost four years in Japan. He was having a fever that time, so he didn't go to school.

He was going to play some playstation games that he had forgot and apparently, that game was in Younghee's room. So he stumbled to Younghee's room and without even bothering to knock, he opened the door... but it's not Younghee who was in her room. It was someone else.

A girl with curvy lips, big eyes and jet black hair and cocky-looking face was staring back at him in shock. Few seconds later, Younghee appeared from his back, it seemed that his sister left to serve some drink for her new friend. Noticing the awkward aura, Younghee quickly introduced the two and Ahrang learned that the girl's name is Soojung. Jung Soojung, and she's from America. Ahrang quickly ran back to his room when he got his game, secretly hoping that this Soojung would come around often.

And she did and the two even became friends.
