Personality : 

She acts arrogant and cold to all those around her, even her friends. For people she is very very close to, she does little things that are warm. She is very loyal when you earn it, and very trusting to those she believes deserve it. She can be very rude and blunt unintentionally, and she's very oblivious to how other people around her feel. She maintains a flat, emotionless expression at all times, and the only semblance of real emotion you will ever get from her is cold anger. When people make fun of her, she acts as if it simply amuses her. The only things that truly make her angry are when people touch on sensitive subjects like her mom or make fun of her brother. Riku Takayama || 17 || He works in the same cafe as her, as a barista and as a bartender at a club || Riku is....very, very laid back. He loves partying, is always depositing sarcastic comments. He's half Korean, half Japanese, and can speak both languages, so he is very intelligent. Unfortunately, his affinity to living life on the edge had him expelled from school, which extended to him being kicked out of his house.He enjoys living on the edge of life. As a high school drop out, you might expect him to have grown a beard and moved in with his parents, but that is not so. Instead, he got himself a job as a barista in the same cafe as Yul, and another as a bartender at a club. .  || They met in kindergarten, when Yul's mother was still alive and her dad's business was still good. For years, they hated each other because he broke her brick tower and she used a magnifying glass to melt off the face of his favorite action figure, but, when they were six, he defended her from a bunch of bullies who were making fun of her deaf brother. From then on, they were the best of friends.  || They are very, very close. Riku's apartment is basically her second home, and she is very soft around him. Since she lives in the apartment underneath his, every morning, she gets up and climbs into his living room through the window. He usually has severe hangover in the mornings, so she cooks for him (using the electric stove that he bought especially for her due to the fact that he knows of her fear of fire). She leaves breakfast on the table for him, with paracetamol. After his parents kicked him out, she helped him fund the apartment he now lives in, which they chose especially so she could come to him and sleep with him if her dad's tempers blew up too bad and she ended up terribly injured. Often on weekends, when they are off work, she bakes things. She is very warm to him and he knows everything there is to know about her

Despite his deafness, he is very optimistic|| they used to be very very close, and when their mother died and the beatings started, he would always protect her. When he turned. 18, he ran away, promising Yul that he'd come back for her when he could support them both. That was six years ago, and Yul harbors secret bitterness towards him for leaving her to their dad || Alive

Background :

Yul was born into a rich family. Her father was the owner of Seo corporations, a large business, and her mother worked as a dolphin trainer at a marine park. Her brother, who was seven years older than her and deaf, was the nicest brother she could ever ask for. Her mom taught her sign language so she could communicate with him, and they would play games where she would say things and he had to try and read her lips to guess itIt was the perfect life. She basically had everything. 

It seemed only fit for fate to steal it away. 

During the year leading up to her mother's suicide, many things occurred. Seo Corps. began to go bankrupt. Seo Daeho became increasingly hostile, often coming home pissed off his with soju. Daeho and Jieun began to fight viciously, and their fights rarely ended without a flipped table or a broken vase. Soon, it came to the point where Yul and Kangdae would lie in bed together, conversing silently in sign language. . 

The only thing that made it worse was when Seo Jieun was found hanging in her closet. 

It was Yul who found her - she'd been looking for Kangdae during a game of hide and seek which he had suggested while their parents were gone. She could never really remember what happened after she discovered her mother hanging there - dead. She must have out. But, the next thing she knew, Seo Corps was down the drain, and they were moving out of their beautiful house. 

That's when it got really bad. They moved into a ratty old apartment, and Daeho became a raging alcoholic who would often slap and punch Yul when Kangdae wasn't around. And he was hardly ever around. The only times Yul ever saw Kangdae were when he dropped her off at school. She would walk home with Riku, where her dad would be waiting. 

Kangdae left when she was eleven. He promised he'd come back for her when he had enough money to support them both - and that was the last time she saw him. 

So, for the next three years, she managed to scrape through life, just barely. Riku would often sneak her food and help her ice her wounds when it got really bad. 

She was fifteen when she decided to get a job of her own. She snagged a job at a cafe and began earning money to get by. She managed to get a scholarship for high school, and they hadn't even gotten past first year when Riku got expelled. She helped him to pay for an apartment in her building, and recommended him for a job at the cafe. 

Now she is seventeen. Her dad often beats her when she is home, and he has taken up drug dealing to get himself by. She has been put in hospital more than once under the cover that she is very clumsy, but she deals with it. To avoid getting it too bad, she stays in Riku's house a lot.

His/Her Persona : he's very quiet and mysterious.

Personality : Joon is very quiet and observant. He doesn't use unnecessary emotions and speaks as he pleases. People conceive this as him being cold and hostile, but he really isn't like that at all. He helps who he thinks deserves it, shows emotion when he thinks it is necessary, and places his interest in places where he thinks are worthy. He isn't at all interested in relationships, until he falls for Yul, of course, because he thinks they will distract him from his goals and 'real needs'.

How you met : Joon is Riku's cousin, and she met him one morning when she was climbing in through his apartment window as she always does and climbed in on Joon digging through one of the drawers on the living room shelf - wearing only a towel. She screamed. He screamed. The towel fell. Riku came running in, alerted by the screaming. Joon quickly covered himself up and ran out. 

 
How you act around each other :Yul acts no different to him then she does to anyone else. They're in the same class, and she sits in front of him. She interests him deeply. The way she only cares for two people in her whole life. He is very observant of the way she acts and he is one of the only ones aside from Riku who can read her even when her face is emotionless or she's putting on a show. He is kind and warm to her, if only to help her warm up to him, and helps her by doing little things like walking her home and carrying her things or, sometimes, coming to the cafe that he secretly knows she works at and tossing money in the tip jar. When he does things like this, she gets angry at him because she's not a ing charity case, but he doesn't stop.

Suggestions : maybe have Riku turn into a zombie and she has to kill him? 

Scene requests :A scene where they're stuck in a closet together and she begins to have a panic attack and he tries to calm her down. Or, a scene where they both fall into a pool and her clothes are torn at the back so when her makeup washes off he can see all her scars from her dad's beatings. Or, a scene where she is crying over someone being dead (Riku, Alayne or maybe even her dad) and he comforts her. Or, a scene where she reunites with her brother and, she forgets her bitterness for a few moments and just hugs him and he gets jealous. Or a scene where she has to save him from drowning or something.
