English on AFF

Okay.

I just want to clarify, I'm not an grammar nazi, like, I don't blame/insult people when they mispell things, it's not a crime and totally fine. I mean I correct my friends or family or random people when they say sth wrong be it in german, croatian or english and I happen to spot it.

I do it automatically, casually, unconciously and completely free of any intention to make the person look stupid. I do it, cause OCD and , lol jk. But seriously. I just do it, cause I dislike when people say things wrong. Like VERY wrong, like, grammatically. It's sort of killing me on the inside and that's why I automatically correct. In english rather rarely, cause I'm not fluent myself on that one xD

Don't get me wrong, I'm for everyone to write in whatever language that person prefers, be it fluent or not, I don't judge that person for it (in 99,9 % of the cases XD), rip their heads off or be an and make fun of them if they say sth wrong (except my dad, lololol *troll*)

.

It's kinda frustrating after a certain time, when you read stories here and the english is either weird or so bad that u barely grasp what the author is trying to say. I'm not fluent myself, but I edit for ages before posting an chapter and put effort in my stuff and it kinda frustrates me when that people don't even want to ask people here to proof read their stuff when they know their english is bad. Like, they apologize in literally EVERY chapter for their english and I'm like "wae don't you ask someone for proof-reading then, fgs? If you're so sorry" and that's that 0.01 % I do judge. XD

........................

OH GOD I'M SO SORRY, I GUESS I AM AN GRAMMAR NAZI AFTER ALL, I'M TERRIBLE OTL

I completely understand what you mean now. You shoulda told me this is what you meant. No, I completely agree with you now. If you're gonna learn a language learn it completely. Learn how to write and speak it properly to get your point across. That's how I approach korean, spanish, and will eventually to hungarian and mandarin.
