Personality: Eunmi grew up in Hawaii with a younger brother and tons of older guy cousins, so she is a little more comfortable around guys than girls, at least personality wise. She loves playing rough and doesn't mind getting some dirt on herself. She loves sports and dancing. Since she was old enough to walk, she's played baseball, tennis, swimming, flag-football, snowboarding, soccer, basketball, and archery. But, because of her hyper and easily bored mind she could never commit to one for more than 3 months. She represents her astrological sign, the Gemini, well with her split personalities. Off stage and in her own world, she is often the Lexi Kim, who grew up with boys and the beach. On stage and with the rest of the world, she is Kim Eunmi, the girl who believes she can do whatever she wants to.

Eunmi is a troublemaker. Even from young, she would cause trouble, and then find some way to get out of it. Although her personality is one of a thug, her heart is bright. She often got into fights during elementary school, but only with the bullies that would friends. 9 year old Eunmi's life motto was "Push me and I'll push back harder". Aside from her troublemaker shell, Eunmi is quite understanding. Her high school friends often came to her for advice and as a confidant. Background: Eunmi has a family of four and pet dog, Oreo. Her family was able to send her and her younger brother to private schools, but because of the tuition it did limit their monthly spendings. She grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. Her father, being from Korea, took the family every summer to visit his side. Her mother's side of the family all lived in Hawaii, since they were already three generations in from immigration times. Because of this Eunmi and her brother were very close to their cousins on their mother's side and had/have a very good relationship with each other. Eunmi and her younger brother faught about even the littlest things when they were younger, but as time passed and they matured the two became close.

How they met?: During the SMTown Concert tour across America, Eunmi is chosen to be one of TVXQ's backup dancers. She ends up getting lost backstage during one of the LA concerts. Lay bumps into her and helps her find her way. As they walk around, they talk about different things and find that they are completely different, but that's what they find so interesting. Before they knew it, they had ended up in front of the backup dancers' dressing room, so the two had to part ways.

Interactions: Throughout the SMTown tour the two slowly became close. They exchanged small waves, slight smiles, and quiet greetings while passing in the hotels or backstage. Lay being a home body perfers to hang out at the company coffe shop, but Eunmi being her energetic self rather be in public even if it means being in the public eye. Over time, Eunmi shows Lay new things to enjoy and he teaches her the beauty of relaxing inside.

Personality: A perfectly equal partner for Eunmi, L.Joe is energetic and loud and everything Eunmi is to the same degree. The two get along well, being the same age have a lot of likes in common. He seems shy at first, but once he warms up to someone he becomes his normal self.  Is the kind of person who is very proper in front of adults and childish with peers.
How they met?: L.Joe and Eunmi actually met back when he was living in the states. Eunmi had decided to live with her relatives in California and attend summer school one summer. The summer school happened to be at L.Joe's high school. The two had taken the same class and helped each other pass. When L.Joe had moved back to Korea, the two stayed in touch and he even helped her with her audition things. 
Relationship status: Best Friends
Interactions: The two don't see each other in person often considering their busy schedule. They text and video chat often causing their members to tease them. They also hang out in each other's waiting rooms at concerts and music shows, but that's about it. Although that is all, the two remain close with almost no secrets. But, what happens when something else besides friendship grows between the two?

How did you get into the agency?: Eunmi auditioned normally through SM Global Audition. She filmed herself dancing to BoA's Only One. L.Joe helped her choose songs and things to do. 
Trainee years: 3 years
Trainee background: At first many of the other trainees were shocked as too how loud she was, but that was just because of her American upbringing. They quickly accepted her though because she was a fun person.
Pre-debut expreriences: Dance classes (ballet and hip hop) from age 10. Performed with dance school. L.Joe also let her practice in the company dance studio when she visited in Korea, so some of the choreographers gave her critque.
