Only purchase layouts with {CONTENTIDs} from the Layout Marketplace. CONTENTIDS are text holders. This tag allows you to edit the text once you apply a layout. Without it, your chapter would look exactly like the layout preview as shown in the layout marketplace with all the 'title here', 'text here', etc.

Profile layouts don't have {CONTENTIDs} because at the moment, the feature is only available for the story foreword, description and chapter. Designers who post profile layouts in the marketplace usually leave a link to their shops/threads so that you can request for the code.

If the layout doesn't have {CONTENTIDs} and there is no link to a gallery or shop, be cautious. Go to the user's profile and try to access his/her threads. If he/she has a layout gallery, you can leave a comment there.

It is important that you check the profile first because we can no longer send pms to users who have hidden their profile accounts. In order to ask for the code, we need to add them as friend. It could be easy for user to just ignore the request and keep your karma. And that it is frustrating to pay karma for a code that won't be given to you.  

Perhaps we could request for a report content button for layouts as well xD As there have been cases of layout plagiarism - user copies the code and pastes it in LM.

It's so easy to create an account for AFF. That's why trolls multiply fast. A rude troll claiming that she is free to do whatever she wants posted the same fic that was plagiarized the other day. And the suspect is claiming to be innocent, saying that she is not the one who did it this time. Sigh. Guilty much. I wonder what's the main account. I hope can do something about this.
