Who was the first K-Pop Group you listened to?

For me it was 2PM, which was during late 2012, but at the time I didn't know they were a K-Pop group. I thought they were Japanese, cause the first song of there's I listened to was Take Off, which was a Japanese song. So for months I just listened to that one song of theirs thinking they were Japanese. Then when I finally gotten into K-Pop during 2013 with SHINee's Dream Girl, I then discovered that 2PM was Korean not Japanese~

For me, it's Wonder Girls! I love their song 'Nobody'. When I discovered that they're from JYP, I started to like 2PM, 2AM and Miss A. Among those JYP idols, I love 2PM+2AM the most! I mean... they're like brothers. I watched their variety shows and I couldn't stop laughing! I thought that they're more like comedians than idols~ Even though the number of groups that I like increase each year, I still love JYP Nation (^__^)

Like durian2003 Rain was the first Korean artist I listened to, and I knew he was Korean, as I'd seen ninja assassin, and my cousin had shown me full house and a love to kill. I used google to know more about him and that's where I found out about MBLAQ. this was back in late 2009 to early 2010. It's been "down hill" since then. and as you can see by my screen name i'm a cougar as I'm older than the idols I've come to love even Shinhwa

The first ever Korean artist I listened to had to be Rain in his 'Rain is Coming Down' era. He was like, such a big thing in our country. I thought he was Chinese... He was practically on billboards (because he was promoting Clear - a shampoo brand). Then, I came to know Lee Hyori and BoA. I don't know who came first, but these 2 girls had me downloading their song Anystar (Hyori) and Eat You Up (BoA), played them on repeat in my Mp3. I liked dance themed songs. The heavy beats made it easy for me to party (by myself) to. LOL XD Then along came SHINee and TVXQ. ^^
