For English class, I was told to write a journal entry on a topic about love (because our unit this quarter is about romance) that was given on the questionnaire. It had things like "Love is blind," "Opposites attract," "Teenagers know what true love is," etc. The topic I choose was "Love at first sight is possible." I know many people will disagree with me but I don't care! Anyways... In my essay, I was supposed to give an example (like personal experience or textual evidence). So I wrote about the first time I saw Baekhyun (which was the teaser, not the What is Love music video... I sort of didn't pay much attention to that) (don't blame me! I was still in my Infinite stage). Because I feel like it, I just wanted to show it to you guys... 

Now to explain more, I will mention a personal experience myself. While many teenage girls like boys who are musically talented, I also love boys who are musically talented in singing, dancing, rapping, and playing instruments like guitar and the piano. This group is called Exo, a boy group that has 12 members (8 Koreans and 4 Chinese). More specifically into liking this group, there was this one member that I completely fell in love within a small glance. It starts with a video that was around a minute long that was released on February 21, 2012. The video starts with a hallway stretched room with mirrors on one side and the other had walls of windows that had furniture in front of it. Walking into the video, a member wearing a black jacket with long bangs all swept to one side showing the action of beckoning for someone to come. With that walked in two more members, one with a winter jacket and another in a simple white long sleeve shirt and slightly baggy black pants. It transition back to the member with long bangs dancing while facing the mirror. There was another transition and the next thing I knew, I was mesmerized over a small petite brunette portraying a face of a 10 year old boy. He was crouched down with his hand extending out with his palm facing away from him so a big white fluffy dog can give him a “high five.” With that scene etched inside my head, this member stayed in the background playing with the dog and didn’t show up until the end. Walking over to the window and looking at the coming solar eclipse, he claimed a smile that could possibly melt all in the snow in Antarctica. The remaining sunlight radiated off his skin making it shine like pearls. Only having 5 seconds in this video, I was still captivated by the beholder of warm chocolate brown and a warming smile named Byun Baekhyun. 

Yeah... I was excited that I finally get to write about Exo in one of my essay!
