My AFF Journey
Well, AFF is older than I had been here, but I felt like sharing bits and pieces of my journey with you guys, too, just like others. I've been meaning to do this post like a week ago but school is school and my bed is soft.
nuff said.
Anyway, back to the topic.
According to my profile, I have been here since 2012. I found the site easily: I was looking for kpop fics but I couldn't find any on FFnet and the Hungarian site I had written for before was out of the question. So I found AFF, but didn't register for a week or two just... read a few things. And soon, I decided to join.
I have stayed because to this day, I enjoy writing and well, the people are amazing. I might not have 1232035 friends on my list, but the few who I frequently talk to are dear to me (loveyouguys <3)
I kind of learned how to actually write on AFF. Before I came here, my English was a little rusty. But I was somewhat forced to practice it again, since finally, I had knew fanfics to read. And then, to write. It was fun because it was a challenge. And maybe this is partially why I had stayed, too.
Things I like are how there are shops for various things. It was fun to be a reviewer while it lasted (I'm not the one for said post) and graphic shops are really useful.
Also, I love the subbing and bookmarking system for some reason. It's just easy to use :3 The fact that the blogs are pretty widely used is cool, too.
I would like to see... I'm not even sure what I would like to see on AFF in the future. Maybe a bit more comments /shot Anyway, seriously, I think most of the site's features are good as they are. I hope that more people will continue to join throughout the years, and that the community will stay the same.
To be honest, I really have nothing else to say. Ugh, I have just woken up and I have 3 pages of English homework to fill in. *groans*
I just hope that AFF will continue growing steadily, and that everyone will have fun for at least five more (if not fifteen :P) years.
