height: 166 cm
weight: 52 kg
appearance:
She has a cute, slightly puffy face and fair skin and tries hard to maintain that look because she knows it's popular with guys. most of the time she tries to look cute but she knows how to make herself look a little older when she goes clubbing.

Her mother used to tell her that her forehead was ugly, so she had bangs since young. also, she actually thinks it's a hassle to dye her hair all the time but it annoys her family, so she keeps up with it.

extra: She has a tattoo with wings on her shoulder she can't remember getting. It was just there one morning after a night of heavy drinking.

key traits: rowdy, quirky, wild, single-minded, determined, selfish, foul-mouthed when drunk or in a bad mood

in-depth: She does what she wants, whenever she wants. She knows that youth and beauty won't last forever, so she frankly doesn't see the point of letting them go to waste. Back in the day women had children at sixteen, so to her minor protection laws are just bull. She's old enough to make her own decisions.

There's nothing she wouldn't do to get what she wants and the only fault she admits is that she was so careless to get caught. That's why she also looks down on most of the others because unlike them she clearly is neither violent, crazy nor a drug addict. Alcohol is part of being an adult after all and if she officially was of age, no one would care about her having a drink every now and then.

background: Haengja was born in Osaka as Iwada Sachiko, the daughter of Iwada Namie, a university drop-out. She didn't know about her father and although she obviously was curious, she never dared to ask. Until she turned eight, they both lived in a small apartment. Her mother worked in a snack bar and Haengja was happy. Then her mother died in a car accident and everything changed.

None of her Japanese relatives wanted to take her in because her mother was cast out when she became pregnant and refused to get an abortion. Before Haengja could get into an orphanage, her father turned up: Kang Daegil, who had done an exchange year at her mother's university before. He came from a wealthy family and already had a fiancée as they met, so he had to leave Namie behind, even though he knew that she was pregnant.

iwada sachiko was brought to Korea and became kang Haengja, haengja literally just being the Korean reading of 'Sachiko'. Her new life felt horrible because no matter what she did, she never seemed to be good enough. She was always just was that foreign bastard child.

Money and reputation were the only things that mattered in her family and Haengja soon began to hate everyone around her. So with time she decided that if she was an embarrassment no matter what she did, she might as well deserve it. Her mother couldn't be proud of her any longer anyway, so there was no need to be a good girl.

In school she had trouble to fit in because of her lacking language skills and some cultural differences. So at first she just became friends with some of the 'bad kids', who weren't as picky about their acquaintances and who, Haengja knew, her so-called family wouldn't approve of. She learned how to swear and how to manipulate others. In middle school her favourite past time was to steal other girls' boyfriends and to skip lessons.

Her family tried to send her to an all girls boarding school but when she was close to getting expulsed there, they just send her to an average school instead, where they could just donate enough for the schoolboard to overlook her doings.

She got her first fake ID when she was 15 and since then clubbing just was her normal way to pass the weekends. She called herself Miyu, because both her Japanese and her Korean name were too old-fashioned for her liking, and told everyone that she was a Japanese exchange student. Guys much older than herself paid for her drinks and her wardrobe and she felt independnt. She didn't need her family's wealth. Her real asset was her face, that one memento of her mother.

But then she slowly lost control over everything. It happened more and more often that she passed out and would wake up in a stranger's bed. Sometimes she drank by herself, not much in her opinion, just enough to cheer herself up. She had black-outs or was approached by people she couldn't remember and who claimed to be her friends. In the end she was caught during one of those nights when she was already past the point of knowing where she was and what she was doing.

family:

mother; Iwada namie | 28 (as she passed away) | gentle, naive | waitress in a bar | to haengja she was the only real family she ever had
father; Kang daegil | 40 | easily swayed, generous, dependant on his mother and his wife | CEO | almost non-existent, he loves Haengja because she reminds him of her mother but he doesn't know what to do with her and his wife wouldn't allow him to spoil her
stepmother; Shin imja | 34 | stern, confident | wife | to imja haengja is nothing but an unwanted burden
half-sister;Kang Mirae | 7 | unspoiled, friendly | student | Haengja hates Mirae but Mirae loves Haengja because she doesn't really understand the whole issue around their different mothers

friends:

friend; Han Soyeon | 16 | air-headed, bubbly | student | Soyeon was one of Haengja's first friends in Korea and also a large influence on her. They were always together and Haengja thought that they would be friends forever, but after entering SRA, Haengja suddenly couldn't reach her any longer.

love interest:Wu Yifan

key traits: deliberately withdrawn, determined and dismissive; surprisingly dorky once he lets his guard down

personality: SRA for him is his only chance to turn around his life, so he deliberately stays away from all the other kids because he knows that most of them are hopeless cases. He used to be different and was heavily fixated on acting cool and tough but when that brought him down, he tried to fix his personality. so now He does whatever he's told as long as he thinks it helps him in becoming a better person.

background: Like Haengja he has the stigma of being a foreigner in Korea, so he always felt alienated.

He didn't feel very supported by his family who ran their own business and were mostly occupied with trying to make ends meet, so he soon began to act tough. He couldn't allow himself to be weak and nice, so he became a leader. Since primary school he bullied and threatened classmates. He stole, skipped classes and sometimes didn't come home for days, always staying at other friends' houses. With time it became worse and he ended up being expelled from school.

case: Drug possession, underage drinking, assault, theft and blackmail were things he was accused of. He and a friend stole a car when they were drunk and crashed. His friend ended up in a coma and he decided that this would have to be his personal changing point.

how you first met: Their actual first meeting was in a club. She told him her Japanese exchange student lie, he claimed to be an idol close to his debut and they made out. But then she threw up over his shirt and he stole her purse, leaving her behind in a back alley. He recognizes her when they meet again but she doesn't, so to her their first meeting was in the canteen where she hit on him because she found him hot and where he rejected her instantly.

interaction/relationship: She's the one to initiate all contact. He thinks of her as useless and feels somewhat bad for stealing from her before, so he avoids her. But exactly because he constantly ignores her, she tries even harder to get him because she can't take no as an answer. at some point she becomes the only one he is openly rude to and she wonders whether there maybe is something wrong with her way of life after all.

back-up love interest: huang zitao

please answer in first pov

what happened before you entered sra: Before? I have absolutely no clue how this happened, really. I think I went out clubbing? Soyeon was there and we were talking to these old farts. They said they owned their own company that sold, what was it again? Some electronic stuff. Anyway, they were super boring. And after that I somehow blanked out. I woke up in a cell and felt like absolute . And then, I don't know, it just somehow happened. Father didn't even turn up. That filled out all the papers but She didn't even bring me spare clothes. I bet she was glad to get rid of me. She probably told everyone that I'm studying abroad now or some other bull.

what do you think of the enviroment?: I mean, have you looked around? This is obviously a hole. Honestly? I've been poor before, so it's not like I'm prissy or anything but I don't get how they think that this place would make anyone feel better about themselves. There was this girl the other day, I have no idea what's wrong with her but she definitely belongs into a mental institution, and she cut her wrists in the middle of the canteen. Do you think they wiped that away immediately? Nah, nope, just leave it there for everyone to see. I might as well end up becoming suicidal myself if this keeps on.

what do you think of the people there?: Well, the majority is pretty stupid? I probably shouldn't say this, but I'm sure that at least half of them will go to jail sooner or later. Protection of minors, my . I mean, there are cool people, too, and it's fun to be around some of them. There sore some really influential people who can help you get whatever you want and That's actually cooler than, say, school. The rules here are easier to follow because everyone is an outcast. But yeah, most people here are scum to be honest.

is there anyone you don't get along with? why?: People I don't get along with? there's No one in particular i think... Oh, except for some of the wardens. They're too strict, really. I mean, I'm obviously not one of the heavy offenders, so why can't they just allow me some make-up? Oh, also, my therapist. That lady keeps telling me that I'm an alcoholic but seriously? Has she even met alcoholics before?! The difference is that I can live with that stuff, I just don't see the point. As an adult you need to drink to be part of society.

what do you like the most in sra?: I like that I don't have to see my darling mother. That's really the best part. Apart from that... Oh, lately I have this new project. There's a guy who acts all cool and detached, so my current goal is to make him fall for me. Like, I want him to beg me to be with him. I mean, well, there's not much else to do anyway. Might as well have some fun.

do you have any plans on what to do when you are released?: Right now I'm just waiting to come off age. Once I'm officially an adult, I'll go back home to Osaka and start afresh. I want the life my mom never had. I want my own proper family, just me and a decent guy and maybe two kids. I wouldn't even mind if it's just me and the kids. Rather that than a husband like my father.

if there was anything and anywhere you can be right now, what would it be?: Home. With Mom.

what do i call you?: riri

comments/questions:I hope I didn't too stray too much from what you had in mind. It kind of developped a life of its own but I can still change it.

scene suggestions:There could be some art therapy stuff and he could be taking part in it. She could join just to get close to him and then make fun of his bad drawings. He could draw some random ugly doodle of her and she could keep it on her wall.

He could make a careless remark about her mother who obviously didn't raise her very well, and could genuinely feel worried when she ticks out and drowns herself in some strong alcohol one of her contacts got her.

she could be obsessed with zodiac signs and tell him random trivia because theirs is the same.
