AFF is 5 Years Old!!!

AFF is 5!
wow! AFF is already 5 years old! even though i only joined AFF when she (?) was 3, i really love this place :3
this is a little post about my AFF journey and stuff!

❥ how and when did i come across this site?

my friend introduced me to this site! if i'm not wrong, at that time, i was into iCarly and Victorious and stuff, and i was telling her about how i wrote fics on fanfiction.net and everything. then she mentioned something about AFF?? and talking about how she also wrote fics there and everything. at least this is what i can remember? i think it was something like that.

then, she showed me one of her fics, so of course i started reading it. she told me to comment on it so i definitely had to create an account hahaha and badabing badaboom we're here! ^~^

❥ my first username?

my username is still the same, hope3698! yay! ^^ i'm contemplating if i should change it though... i have a few names that i've thought of changing it to, but i've never really actually changed it. partly because wow a lot of karma points are needed for that :o it used to be 20 karma points, didn't it?

❥ why i continue to stay?

this place is amazing! the people are really nice! i like writing my fics here because i find it really convenient! it's not super confusing and i can even edit my layouts and everything! (even though i'm really bad at it, but hey, everyone starts somewhere, right?)

❥ what are some of my favourite things about the site?

it's convenience, definintely! it's easy to post comments and reply to them! even though the upvoting thing can be faked from time to time (y'know what i mean? when people force their subscribers to upvote and stuff), i think it's a good idea. it also makes the author feel happy, to know that we really did write well and people really do like our stories. especially if we don't shove it in their faces to "upvote my story please!!!" not saying that it's something bad, but sometimes i find it a little annoying.

❥ what is something that i would love to see on this site in the future?

um, i don't really have anything that i dislike or want to see on this site i guess? there isn't anything pariticular that ticks me off now, so nope!! ^^ i used to dislike how authors would lock their stories to 'subscrbers only' (it makes it seem like you're desperate for subscribers imo) but now it's better since we get to read a little snippet from the chapters before deciding to subscibe! (:

oh! oh! i thought of something! (even though i don't know if this is good or bad news...) i'm kind of confused about the way the html thing in AFF works. like the way it looks when i edit it and the final product can sometimes be really different! i don't know if it's because i've made a mistake somewhere, or is it something to do with the site...? but it confuses me sometimes. like as i speak, i'm really hoping that when i save this layout, nothing goes haywire.

❥ any other kind messages i'd like to leave!

~~i'm not a very kind person but ohkay.~~ i love AFF! haha. i actually don't have much to say otl. i told you i don't know how to phrase my thoughts well! ~~and yet, i write many fics ._.~~ i would create a special layout dedicated to the anniversary but.... i guess you know my layout-making skills just by looking at this ㅠㅠ i'd like to create a graphic too! but guess what? i at that as well sighpie.

about that fictional story.... since i already wrote my real one, and it's 1 in the morning, i guess i'll skip that too! HAHA. i know this is really lengthy and boring but it's fun to me! ^^ hope y'all liked it! ~~who reads it anyways~~
