It means you purchased karma before. If you donate in the fundraiser project, you'd get two more badges. Click the link in the advertisement box (blue box) which says 'Advertise' and then go to the last two tabs to know more about the mobile app fundraiser project and how you could help.

There's some benefit for AFF Gold members like what it stated above and more new features to come soon.
For now, it seems not useful since it's still new and there's not much features in it but in the future, it'll be useful because this is only for the premium members c;
